Most of our lives are constantly go-go-go. A lot of us are going at a constant rate of 100mph as we journey down the road entitled, « Life ». Down this road, we see many road signs telling us which direction/path we should take. Of those many road signs, which one would you say resonates with you personally and/or professionally?
@StoryDoctor1138 why is it that I can also relate to your sign? Haha! Very nice choice!
Professionally I am in between the two!
I liked the sign in a country park :
"CAUTION - Free-range Children"
I was confused by :
"Children Drive Carefully"
I am surprised that they are driving ; but if they are doing so carefully, why am I being warned ?
@BashfulLoner and @littermate I like those too, Haha! Everyone here has some pretty clever and creative ideas!
Not a sign but a saying I’m constantly thinking of at work is “The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions “
@cuddlerforu24 Your road is paved!!!??? Lucky
@ fun I have paved my road a couple times with favors
@FunCartel right! Paved roads are a once inna lifetime things sometimes 🙃😂😂. Although where I moved the roads are pretty paved 😝
@Sideon I think I'll choose this road 🙃
@Sheena123 ooh and your road
@littermate and of course your road, if you're somewhere on it 😅❤
@pmvines Now you know the signs to look for when you are headed my way! 😉
I relate to the first one -- not being sure what happens next. The others are just for fun.
"Abandon hope all ye who enter here"
My life sign would be "Bridge out ahead" (I'm not good with memes)
Of course, we have great signs all over. Here in Amish country, there is "Watch for horse-drawn vehicles" which is good advice. If I ever see a vehicle that a horse drew, I would want to meet that horse and get his autograph. Where would he even hold the pencil?
How about "terminal entrance" at an airport? If an entrance is that dangerous, I think I would not go in.
And the sign "No shirt, no shoes, no service" just begs the question "What about no pants?" Turns out you do get service is you are wearing no pants. It is a police escort service.
Sign on a café window "Don't stand outside being miserable, come in and be fed up".
Not really a road sign but sums up my life
