It's that time of year. According to protocol, one should be operating with an increased amount of merriment. Given the problematic nature of 2020, it would be best if an individual's merriment output were increased by at least 30% by 12/8; however, given the previously mentioned circumstances, one could be forgiven for only achieving a 15% increase in joy by said time. Naturally, these numbers should be consistently improved upon as Christmas draws closer.
Remember to remind those around you that it is the Holiday Season. Do this frequently and enthusiastically. The illusion of unity and the dulling of reality are key to achieving a happy holiday—this year will be a hard one.
