@CuddleDuncan I quite agree. I'm very happy to see that our little circle went beyond the original question and told us about themselves and their experiences instead. These kind of interactions are exactly what I was hoping for when I joined the site, preferably with an eventual side of cuddles of course lol

I was an introvert, to myself. I received “Most Courteous” senior year. I look totally different now from how I looked then. My daughters tell me I glowed up. Lol. I’m much more out going now for sure.

I was the painfully introverted, bullied nerd. For a long time, it formed a large part of my self image. Cuddling has been one of the factors in my healing: having people accept me as I am, and reflect their positive perceptions of me.

I was an everything girl too, thanks @bekah_cuddles for the term. Did everything, did it up, but not a snooty poop. Just a girl trying to get her dad to love her. Voted most likely to succeed and a few other things. Disappointed everyone when I jumped tracks to alternative weirdness. Alas. Not on the map. Wanna hang? Gotta hike through some wilderness to find me.
Who cares about high school. High school is irrelevant. I was in a gang, I was arrested more than once and I was a drug dealer in high school. I ended up with several graduate degrees from William and Mary, Old Dominion and the University of Kansas. You are never the same as you were last year if you live life kinetically. I even find my degrees irrelevant now.
I was what you would call a "wild card". I got along with almost everyone, yet I was my own young man. Silly rabbit, cliques are for kids!
I was quiet, shy, and bookish. I'm still bookish but no longer quiet and shy.
They aren't called high schools in England. However, I went to a boys-only school. I was quiet and studious and mostly kept to myself. I had a couple of friends but they weren't in any of my classes, so I only interacted with them on breaks. There was no-one in any of my classes that I felt an affinity with. My best subjects at school were Art and French. I pretty much saw school as a thing to be endured, not enjoyed. Most of our teachers were awful. I can't say school fulfilled me in any way.
@UKGuy From what I've heard, it sounds like schools in the UK could be a bit harsh. Some pop songs (like Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall") seem to reinforce that idea. Do you think that's true?
@FlyingToaster Its like any country...it depends who you are and how much cash you have as to what type of school you go to.
@FlyingToaster - everywhere tends to be harsh if you are quiet and an introvert. In some ways it was less harsh that I have heard about high schools in the USA. For instance, we had assigned tables at lunchtime, so there was no stress about where people would sit. Schools in the UK have changed tremendously since I lived there. Now many aren't even called schools, they are called academies. Single-sex schools have mostly converted to co-ed.
I was the awkward, anxious social misfit, badly bullied. Into art, music and books. No real friends.
Nowadays I'm still awkward, but have a shiny new autism and ADHD diagnosis that explains my social ineptitude somewhat. Still love books, still adore art and music, I have a few friends but nobody I am very close to apart from my best friend. I'm less anxious because I live my life without excuses and conditions now. I just live my life how I am happiest living it.

Easily one of the best athletes in any school I attended. Definitely started out as an extrovert in hs. And gradually becoming a couch potato on my days off. Just feels good to spend time where u spend the most money 🤷♂️
I was the weird kid who the bullies were too afraid of to bully and the popular girls wanted to sleep with to piss off their parents
