  • @NightShift39 Yup. Just the next batch of pro slavery corporate boot lickers. Your two party system sucks.

For the love of God and all things sane, can this please be one space on this planet free from politics? American president inaugurations are not holiday celebrations, and we have enough divisiveness in the forums on literally every. other. topic. :s I do NOT want to know anyone's political affiliations.

This one kind of feels like a holiday, though. Then again....

A step in the right direction doesn't necessarily guarantee anything.

Still. I do feel pretty celebratey.

  • This one kind of feels like a holiday, though. @DarrenWalker lol

  • @TheMidnightOwl - Oh let people have their fun. You know they're so excited that Trump is gone. :p

  • @TheMidnightOwl Pretty divisive to troll a thread because you don’t like the topic. Live and let live.

  • "Be Careful what you wish you may regret it. Be Careful what you wish you just might just get it" Metallica

  • I can sympathize with @TheMidnightOwl post. I have voted now in eleven national elections I have also been twice elected myself in local elections. It’s unfortunate that politics can divide people so quickly. Even to the point where people in families won’t speak to each other. I am always concerned when politics enter this site knowing how divisive it can be. One of the purposes I believe this site holds is attempting to get people together to just escape if you will the daily dramas and pressures we all face. I respect everyone’s political view and every political office anyone holds

  • This thread wasn't exactly click-bait. The title is very clear what it's about. You don't have to click on it. :)

  • The title is perfectly fine. It’s a historical day 😊

  • @OhioMike I can also sympathize with the sentiment but this was a thread that was obvious what it was about—don’t read or participate if you are not interested. That is kind of an internet rule of thumb—ignore it if it bothers you but isn’t life altering. There are tons of threads that I am perplexed by, or think are childish or immature, or just down right stupid, but that is just me and so I ignore them because who am I to say what people should enjoy. That view works both ways.

We often disagree, but I am with @Mike403 on this one.

  • First of all I was interested in the title. And I clicked, read, and participated in it. So please don’t assume anyone’s actions to a thread here .

So I’m not sure what that discussion is about? Can it be discussed that this site is trying to get people together for a common purpose ? And can it be discussed the political climate keeps a lot of people apart?

    That’s the point I’m attempting.

  • 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

  • Love how people like to indirectly start drama here (which they have successfully done, there wasn’t any before they had their so called fit) & I love how they claim to be triggered by something, but decide to indulge themselves in said trigger, to complain that they are now triggered 😤 lol ... it’s like being triggered by rain 🌧 but deciding to step out in the rain, without a poncho or umbrella ☂ or zero purpose to be in it whatsoever - just to make the point that because they are now in it they’ve been triggered lol this is not a single forum thread, there are over 100 pages of threads (heck you can even make 1 or several yourself) & this title wasn’t misleading not even a bit, soo many to choose from.

  • I think for most people on the thread this was not divisive—it was a place to share relief which is a word that came up frequently. Primarily, relief that this all came off peacefully and that is something to celebrate after the events of January 6th.

  • The first person who was divisive got blasted by several. Thats why it wasn’t “divisive “. Who would want that to happen to them. And curiously this was a female enthusiast, you know a “unicorn “ for a lot of people? Now I’m really clicking, reading posting and participating 😇

And curiously this was a female enthusiast, you know a “unicorn “ for a lot of people?

@OhioMike This, er, strikes me as an unusual thing to point out. What made it stand out for you? From what I've seen, both women and men get blasted all the time on here.

Democracy is a terrible form of government and a terrible way to run a country......that is, until you compare it to all other forms of government.

  • [Deleted User]squeakytoy (deleted user)

    @admirer97_ Ain't that the truth.

  • @OhioMike Who are you referring to?

  • edited January 2021

@FunCartel i have only referenced one profile in this thread till now . Easy to locate no need repeating.

@squeakytoy ..what made it stand out to me was a post to attempt to keep politics and cuddling separate. And I found that interesting. Then like many I clicked on the profile and it’s a female enthusiast. Hopefully we can at least somewhat agree that there are many many threads posted about how challenging it is to find a female enthusiast. Here is one who spoke openly and I found the indifferent responses curious. Considering again how challenging it is supposed to be to find female enthusiasts

  • @OhioMike There were a few female enthusiasts that commented on topic and one who said that this should not be a topic. The one who said it should not be a topic was the one you agreed with and echoed her sentiments. So the topic was not divisive, only the people who didn’t like the topic. Other than that, I did not see divisiveness. And my god, 50% or more of the threads really have nothing to do with cuddling per se. So if one does not like the topic, one should avoid participating in it or trolling the thread. Did people have differing viewpoints? Of course, but it isn’t a sin as long as it is civil.

  • @FunCartel Agreed. With the exception of the few people complaining about the thread being divisive, the tone of the thread has been overwhelmingly positive about the topic. If the subject still bothers one that much, nobody is holding a gun to your head forcing you to read/participate in the thread instead of just moving on...

  • @FunCartel thank you for the play by play analysis. Not needed by me but maybe it helps others.

I am happy and content knowing the irony here is so thick.... A female enthusiast mentions a request and gets responses mentioning Hitler , trolling , and told to not respond to threads they may not like. WOW 😳

    Taken to DM. Carry on

  • @FunCartel My 328pm est post answers hers and yours 1st question

Lastly this was not a thread about female enthusiasts. Agreed.

My point for the last time (before I retire for the evening) is that an elusive female enthusiast who disagrees politely with a topic is treated rather rudely. And yet ...and yet.... and yet....wait for it....wait for it...here comes the millionth thread about someone who can’t find a female enthusiast here to cuddle. Amazing 🤩. I wish you all a pleasant evening . Be safe and bless all of you 😊

    🍿

Hope popcorn doesn't offend any of my thin skinned cuddle enthusiasts.

    ^!
edit : i did not co-sign that popcorn or statement 😅😂 everything was deleted & replaced lol but its cool, I think we gave the person enough attention & drama which they were really seeking ... I’m outta this thread have a blessed day everyone 🌌

  • While I believe there is cause for celebration, I will never forget that 74 million people voted for T. This isn't about one bad man; this is about a system and 74 million people wanting him to continue doing what he does. I have no doubt that some of those people are on this forum, so it's inherently divisive whether or not they speak up.
