I love tattoos and got my first one... I'm not even sure anymore lol. It was probably around 16 years ago or so. Since then I've acquired a few more and have an appt for few more planned for this May.

I don’t have any. I want something like this but I worry I wouldn’t like it once it’s on my body!

  • My first tattoo is of Wile E. Coyote holding up the dead Road Runner. It’s on my left shoulder blade. I got it in October of 1998. It is to symbolize my constant pursuit of happiness. Sure, it’s a silly cartoon, but that’s what it was always meant to depict.

My second tattoo is in old typewriter font. It was supposed to be “Nolite te bastardes carborundorum”, meaning “Don’t let the bastards grind you down”. It’s from the book and show, “The Handmaid’s Tale”. It’s, unfortunately misspelled and is on my right forearm. It’s meant to remind me to not allow myself get to the point of suicide.

To correct the problem, I plan of getting it covered in black in the shape and detailed artistry of a deep open wound, with blackness on the inside. Then, I wish to get the aforementioned tattoo spelled correctly on my left forearm.

Lastly (yeah, like that’s going to be the last tattoo I ever get), I want to have ivy all over my body, from my arms and chest all the way to my feet, weaving “in” and “out” of my skin. P. S. More to come!!!

  • @simone825 that’s hot 🔥 reminds me of joie chavis hip tattoo, would you get it in color?

@Gwenniegwengwen wow that sucks that they misspelled it, but Atleast you have a plan to correct it and do it again ... I don’t know if you have i.g. Or not but if you do, look up alpha.tattoos ... they have plenty of all over body tattoos like you describe with great artists

  • I don’t have any and I don’t personally like them, but I’ll always support those who do and respect their way of expressing themselves.

  • I stopped counting. But i do have a sleeve and some on my legs as well as my ribs.

  • I have 8 tattoos but my favorite on is this one

  • I love those really simple black ink only tattoos.

Sadly i have commitment/anxiety issues and i could never get tattooed myself. Closest i ever got was a henna tattoo that lasted 3 weeks.

So i buy temporary tattoos and stick them on :) Childish? Yes. Fun? Also yes.

  • I love tattoos. I was 18 when I got my first one and I now have 5. I'm hoping to get more soon.

  • I consider all tattoos to be body mutilation because there is nothing more beautiful that natural skin.

  • I felt that way a long time. I got my first, at 52.
I hit a point where I realized I had desecrated my own body and health, in such a much more obscene degree than tattoos, that my opinion shifted.

Yep, I think they're great when they're well done.

I have 3 that required over 4 hours to sit for, several smaller ones.

My main guy (Ben Ackerman) is a fellow axe thrower, and ranked in the top 5 cover up artists, for North America. My other guy (Thor) is a long time friend, was at Yonge St, til COVID, and career change.
Corrie, at Kent St Tattoo, in Lindsay, used me as her first human canvas, over 30 yrs ago, when we were working together.

  • each to his own thing !!, but I would NEVER get one, I HATE needles. I can not understand why anyone would PAY somebody to stick them 1000's of times to get them. I have only given blood one time in my life, I hate any size needle.
I think anyone that wants one, should tour a nursing home to see what they look like when one gets older !!!.
I would turn down a cuddle based on the location of them. But again, each to his own thing, I sure don't dislike anyone for having them, I have friends that have them, just not for me.

  • I think when you are in a nursing home, how your tattoo looks is way down the priority list as opposed to figuring out how not to pee yourself.

  • I have 7 total, started when I was 18. I love tattoos, I plan to get a half sleeve and a piece on my side body. I love art being on my body. I'm not a huge fan on jewelry and view my tattoos as adorning my body in pieces that mean something to me. !

My thing when I was younger was piercings. Have actually never had one professionally done . Would just let friends make holes in me , or I would do it myself. Also didn't really keep jewelry in for very long . Think they call it play piercing. As impulsive as I was it's probably a good thing I didn't get tats or else I would look like an etch a sketch that did time
