Hey everyone another fun question for you! Lol! Which Christmas song fills you with the most hatred and rage?
Ah, see? Now you're being sincere and genuine. And my least favorite Christmas song of all is the one where the singers shriek "Ding dong ding dong!" over and over. I cannot stand that song. My homicidal ideation towards the store speakers becomes even more active than usual every time that cursed thing plays. Ugh.
Anything mentioning a red-nosed reindeer. It's just such a ridiculous concept.
@UKGuy So is a god that created everything, killed Egyptians and thought having his son killed would demonstrate his love, yet billions of people believe in it. Sounds to me more like Don Godleone than someone you go to for a hug.

I can’t stand Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s version of “Carol of the Bells”. Seriously...it’s not a song meant for such gratingly shrill rock guitar notes! The only piece of theirs I actually like is “Wizards in Winter (instrumental)”. They released “Wizards in Winter” on their album “The Lost Christmas Eve” back in 2004.
Anyone else’s version of “Carol of the Bells” is just A-OK unless it’s David Benoit’s version...he did the best job on the piece IMHO.

firstly, I enjoy the holiday season and everything that goes with it. The reason for the season is peace, love, and happiness not hatred or discontent. However if there was any christmas song that I just can’t sit through is Dominic the Donkey. It is much too repetitive and the Donkey sounds are at a pitch that I just cant.
That one by Paul McCartney gets rather annoying something about the tone and tempo
@pmvines I think Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" is actually one of the Christmas songs I can tolerate more easily than others

@pmvines I agree. Paul McCartney is like eating oatmeal everyday—bland and very forgettable. At least oatmeal lowers your risk of colon cancer.
@FunCartel at least with the Beatles he added to the collective and they bounced off each other . Not crazy about the solo stuff (not a huge Beatles fan either but I do recognize their impact on music composition. Helter Skelter I even consider one of the first heavy rock/metal songs of that time )
@pmvines @FunCartel I think Paul McCartney has done a lot of great music (though naturally, I think his albums have had some filler). I think the Beatles did some great stuff, though I think they had a lot of filler songs on their albums too. I think theiir most popular/famous songs are pretty good though. And I agree the Beatles had a big impact on music.
Easier to say which ones are my favorite. Those being all 10 tracks on Twisted Sisters "A Twisted Christmas" album. In fact, those are the only ones I like.
Poor Paul. Seems he is on the receiving end of much flack for being the one other Beatle still kicking. Yes, the leading Lennon is RIP. As tragic and band altering as John’s death (...and others thereafter) was, we shouldn’t rag on Paul. There wouldn’t have ever been “The Beatles” if they all didn’t have talent and hadn’t collaborated their skills together

@pmvines Again I concur. Not much of a Beatles fan either but I appreciate their contribution. But isn’t that pretty much the case with most people that leave long term highly successful bands for a solo career? I know there are exceptions but when they are in a band at least there is someone to tell them when something’s rubbish.
@FunCartel true , and I think the key to a lot of Beatles songs is the harmonizing which you dont get with solo music as much . Speaking of people who left bands to go solo , one of my first loves music wise was ozzy Osbourne. I was in 3rd grade and listening to bark at the moon for a month straight. I had no idea who black sabbath were but knew all the solo stuff. Then I heard iron man and ince I dug deeper I had an appreciation for sabbath but the non ozzy albums I thought were terrible. They had like.4 singers but I still only like the ozzy albums .
There are a few I could go without but the main one is Last Christmas. If you took the jingle bells out and the word Christmas, it could literally be about any other friggin holiday. So stupid.
My second one would be happy Xmas from John Lennon. Just ugh... sorry if that stung anyone.
