I wish we got some significant snow where I am. It gets cold, but most of the time, all we get is rain.. Sometimes it gets cold enough at night but warms up in the day for it to melt, and then sometimes re-freeze at night, creating icy conditions. In the winter, it feels like the weather taunting us. "No snow for you!"
I remembered to buy a new snow shovel this fall, so I'm pretty sure that will keep the snow away this year :-)

@Sheena123 Ooow way to rub it in! I usually travel to states regularly to visit friends and catch some sun, but this year threw a major snowball at those plans! What part of Canada are you from?
I've only visited places that have snow so I am guessing anyting that you have to shovel out of your driveway,
I like snow a lot. For me I would say anything over 30" from one storm is to much.
I lived in Vermont for 3 yrs, moved there from alabama . I had to shovel my way into and out of places like a ground mole

I think 2 feet is about right for me if it's lake effect. System snow i'd say 8 inches. My truck can still get thru that much.

😲 holy taledo! As an Phoenix AZ native I have only seen snow that sticks for more than 12 hours a handful of times. Its crazy to me how much it snows other places sometimes ❄

So here in 2020 Ohio we now have had the snowiest Christmas in 85 years. Almost foot and half in some places. I can’t think of anything else that happened here in 2020 more newsworthy than that 😂

Snow fills my heart with something resembling joy. It pleases me to see it falling gently, to have it whipping against my face during a blizzard, and to view it in immense piles that tower over passerby—including myself, as I choose not to drive.
It's a delight when everything comes to a screeching halt during a snowstorm. Whenever someone remarks upon the weather and how terrible it is (usually after getting out of a heated vehicle), I enthusiastically agree. Whenever a person thrusts their woes upon me—"My car's battery died and I had to wait in the cold for someone to give me a jump" or "My homeless uncle froze to death"—I frown and shake my head. "Terrible," I'll say, barely able to hide the mirth in my voice. "Truly terrible."
Obviously in a year of years I was being sarcastic hence the laughing emoji 😂
