Being unfriended...............

  • You said "just about all who have cuddled with me have been positive about my cuddling.....if I pushed any boundaries I don't know what they were.". You have not cuddled with the one who unfriended you right? That cuddler wouldn't have direct experience with you as a cuddler. She could read your karma but wihout cuddling with you wouldn't have anything else to go on. So if you didn't cuddle with her she would be making the decision based on something else and not on direct experience of your cuddling behavior.

  • Seems like you have 32 other friends you can communicate with, and possibly cuddle with. It might seem weird. But I wouldn't take it personally.

The friends feature is just a collection of social badges of honor to say you have connected. It means nothing. These people are not real friends if you are not reciprocating communication with one another. Nothing to feel anything for or about doing. It's really irrelevant and unimportant if you're making and reciprocating genuine interest in people. Who cares how many names are listed on your registry??

It's possible if there was a big age difference, she wanted to try though had some issue with that. Or it could be virtually anything. Also, is she relatively new to the site? A pro, or enthusiast?

While some have the drive and the ability to conquer rejecting you, unfortunately, not all do. Perhaps, she does that out of m--whats the word... bad intentions. Or she had many experiences in which she rejected men who ended up blowing up on her: it happens. Anything could be the case.

I'd move on and forget her. Or doing one more try by messaging.

    Something like:

"Hey, how come you unfriended me? Does this mean you've no interest to proceed with our planning?"

Then, go about your life. Don't think about it, or her for like a week, or even two. If no response within that time, then hopefully each day that went by: you were losing more, and more interest. So, you should be good to move on.

@Lovelight , There is no real age difference between us. Since I posted this things have changed and we are in the process of trying to meet again.

  • @Lev136 great! Hope it goes well.

  • I made the mistake of un-friending someone sooo amazing on this site - reason being: because she was wayyy too gorgeous !!! Let me explain

Before I had her in my friends list I would reach out to pros & enthusiast alike , & I will get responses here & there ,, not that many from enthusiasts but a couple (near me) ... after she was officially on my friend list enthusiast completely stopped responding , & I worried that the reason being was because they were judging me & my intentions based on having her & only her as she really stands out ... I followed up by unfriending & never gave an explanation as to why ... shortly aftter not having her there I started communication again with enthusiast... but, am I overthinking this? Maybe ... might I have overreacted- probably , but I couldn’t think of any other reasons as to why this happened.

A time after, I notice how that person who was in my friend list was extremely wise / smart / & thoughtful in her comments & responses in the general thread , & not just somebody who is ver attractive... I soon regretted my decision right away but I felt like I couldn’t take it back & now I have an outlook of its whatever , we can’t control what others think ... or maybe I was just simply wrong all along.... maybe lol

  • I was unfriended by someone who I had cuddled with and hung out with multiple times . Then she blocked me and ghosted because of personal reasons. Gotta admit it did sting as we were pretty cool with each other and I do think about her from time to time . But everyone has their reasons for doing things, is what it is. Just gotta live and let live and wish people the best in life.

  • @introvme ~ You certainly aren't the first to over-think something that took place between you and another on this site.

If you think you might cross over the line that surrounds your, "Platonic Cuddle Intentions" toward her, then let it go. If not, and all you had was what reads as a minor disruption in logic, then resend a new friend request.

If she asks about it, just let her know you were being affected by a mess of assumptions and/or feelings you weren't sure how to process.

No biggie! Lot's of us do random impulsive stuff sometimes. But we don't have to be defined by it. Plus it seems most in the forums are fairly forgiving ~ so give it a go and see what happens.

(and try not to over think things -lol- easier said than done ~ but if you can start to notice it, you can start to control it)

    Good luck!!

  • Y’all, it might not be that deep. Sometimes folks purge friends lists or delete karma for convenience or political reasons. I have had cuddle partners apologetically delete positive karma that they left for me because it led to other men messaging them frequently to ask leading questions.

I’ve known some who have deleted all friends from their profile because they found they had common contacts with people they knew outside the site and didn’t like the encroachment on their anonymity.

You’ll never know until you ask, @Lev136. I’m glad to hear you decided on the direct route.

  • Not here, but on other sites in the past I have used the Friend function in a very particular way. I would tag people as Friends on the slightest acquaintaince, and then untag them once I got to know them properly. Basically, my Friends list was actually a list of people I wanted to know better. None of my actual site friends was on it.

I'm very confident that it's not just me, and I'm very confident that there are buckets of different ways of using a Friend function that I haven't thought of.

  • Yes @CuddleDuncan my situation was similar to how you describe, to have been easier to communicate later on, I completely get it
