Just heard the news of Dawn Wells passing. She will always be remembered in the endless reruns of Gilligan's Island as Mary Ann.
I think she had dementia in her final years.

Mary Ann. Ginger, while beautiful, always seemed superficial. The show always seemed to down play Mary Ann's looks and sexuality, which actually made it seem more real and desirable. From what I've heard, Dawn Wells was a nice and genuine person in real life. I certainly hope that was the case...too often our heroes and crushes fail our expectations. RIP Ms. Wells.
Yeah I'll pass on both I'm going for the professor, I think with someone to insulate him from Gilligan he might actually get us off the damned island.
