Hi there, I look forward to hearing everyone’s answers!
This can apply to both cuddlers and cuddlees (if that’s a word, lmao). 😊
Hello 👋
Best advice is to scope the FAQs thread and a lot of the threads created at the top in the general section. It answers a lot of questions that newbies would have ✌🏻
1 . Your profile 📝 it is you biggest asset on here, the best possible thing you could do to try & connect or interact with others is having a well written “about me” with lots of details ...
2 . Pictures - if possible add pictures , or Atleast have some of them on “private” or in “friends only” ready to exchange with others when that time arises ... (also, try to add a pic of anything, don’t just leave the standard cc pic on there) 📸
3 . Your approach & your openers - this will go a long way , someone here shared in great details how to go about this with great examples (wish I had saved or remembered the thread) , I honestly wish I had seen this when I first joined & those tips has helped me tremendously since 🔑
4 . The forum - participate & get to know us & us you ...you will learn a lot from both sides of a debate or argument , a lot of questions answered , & also there is a real sense of escape in the threads/ forum - one of the reasons we are here besides seeking emotional connection is because we are lonely & the thread truly gives this sense of togetherness & nice escape 🌎
What @introvme said. Spot on.
Make sure one or two people at least know where you are and who your with for your safety. Don’t ask weird questions and make it seem as though you are intending to do something else besides cuddle. Don’t come at this like your cuddle partner owes you a cuddle just because they are talking to you anger will get you no where
@Verona Excellent points—especially the safety aspect of it.
Thank you! @FunCartel
Boundaries. Very strong and clearly stated and enforced boundaries. And be prepared for testing of those boundaries and how you’ll respond.
Don’t assume this is a safe space free from predators. It isn’t. In fact, predators intentionally pick spaces where people assume they’re safe to let their guard down. They capitalize on the assumption we have that they’re also here for platonic interactions and catch us off guard. I unfortunately learned this from experience.
Do not ignore your gut feelings.
Fill out your profile so people have something to start conversations about, which it looks like you’ve done.
Know what kinds of interactions (verbal and physical) you want and don’t settle or compromise.
I recommend having a vetting process for potential meetup candidates.
Any red flags arise and GTFO of the interaction.
Know yourself and your vulnerabilities. Use boundaries accordingly.
Take the time to really get to know people before meeting them. Make them earn your trust. As a pro this may not feel as necessary, though.
Definitely tell a friend when and where you’re going to meet a CC person, and even consider having that friend have access to location sharing while you’re there.
Have fun and be safe.
Amen @EGio. I'd love to know more about your vetting process.
I'm very new and I've learned pretty quick that there's no need to explain myself or engage in a back and forth about my boundaries. Several men have tried to cross the lines that are clearly stated in my profile and my natural inclination is to explain why I can't accommodate this or that request, because I'm a nice person. They usually don't stop after the first explanation and I have more than enough of this nonsense with my children already. I end those conversations and block those users. Not sorry.
Patience.
You never know what the other person is going through. ❤️
This is the advice I gave an aspiring pro last week but many of these tips could be applied to enthusiasts: 1. Set the right tone with your profile, try to look friendly and professional in your photos, avoid photos in sultry poses and revealing outfits. 2. Have a detailed and professional profile, make your policies, boundaries, and booking process clear, The more organized and professional you sound the more seriously clients will take you. 3. Have a screening process I personally video chat with people I ask what they’re looking for out of the session and make my boundaries clear I also asked Covid risk screening questions and try to go for lower-risk people in terms of Covid. 4. Dress more modestly for your sessions, Opt for T-shirts over tank tops leggings and sweatpants over shorts, etc. I’m not saying this to shame anybody for their attire but I know from personal experience that the more fabric I wear the less boundary-pushing I encounter. 5. Have a safety person or two always let someone know where you are who you are with and for how long so they know when to check in on you if you can share your location that is even better but do that on top of actually letting them know. 6. Carry pepper spray and or a tazer I keep pepper spray on me but I’ve never had to use it but just having it makes me feel better. 7. Don’t bend the rules even a little if you give an inch they will take a mile and just keep pushing for more and more they will tempt you for a lot of money and it will be hard to resist but in the long run, it’ll be worth it to cultivate the right clients be firm and unapologetic don’t be afraid to say “no” And remember that “no” is a complete sentence 8. Always get the money at the beginning of the session so you can leave if you don’t feel safe or comfortable. 9. Always listen to your gut if someone seems shady don’t see them, have an abundance mindset don’t settle for clients that you don’t feel right about, and compromise your safety out of desperation for money.
@introvme "someone here shared in great details how to go about this with great examples (wish I had saved or remembered the thread) , I honestly wish I had seen this when I first joined & those tips has helped me tremendously since"
I wonder if this was the thread you're thinking of?
...how to start a conversation by NOT saying, "Hi, How are you"
I highly recommend the free safety course at Cuddle Sanctuary. It's intended for pros but great for enthusiast women to screen people as well.
The best advice I got from another cuddle buddy is to listen to your gut.
A host at a cuddle party told me two things that stuck. NEVER take it personally if someone rejects you to cuddle or wants to stop cuddling to leave because it’s not personal. Both have to be on the same page. They may just have a preference and sometimes you can’t know it will work till you platonically touch.
Thank you so so SO much for the wonderful advice, everyone!!! I wish it was possible to follow and receive notifications while on the site, sorry for not responding to anyone until now.
I just want to say that a LOT of this advice is fantastic and things that I didn't even consider. Some follow up questions:
@introvme Thank you so much for the wise words! I will probably redo my profile based on the advice that you've given me!
@EGio and @xandriarain Thank you both for the advice on boundaries I really appreciate the insight and I hope I continue to find respectful cuddle buddies :')

@urfavebabybrat ~ Fyi ~ You can actually adjust your "settings" to receive notifications. 📲📳 🙂
Don't steal people's profiles word per word and try to pass it off as your own. 🙄 If you have nothing original to say leave it blank until you do.
☝heh-heh😉
@introvme Oh, it's no problem at all! Thank you for your guidance, I've noticed that you help quite a few folks out around the forums so I'm honored!
@quixotic_life I was able to find it, thank you so much
