@sunnysideup I doubt anyone is getting 10 bookings a week—half that if they are lucky. My best guess is they get 2 on average. But obviously I don’t know and every demographic/region is different. In heavily populated areas like San Francisco or New York City the females may be able to book more appointments but they also need to earn more money because the cost of living is so high. I just don’t think it’s a proper living wage.
@Importance I think of it like driving for Uber. You can work when you want and pick up clients where you see fit, but you're unlikely to be making a living wage from it unless you're constantly online. That being said, I respect anyone who has a ton of experience in the industry as I'm sure they've had to put up with a lot over time.
@Importance I think there might be a misunderstanding - I don't mean 10 bookings, but rather 10 hours a week. That could be 2 bookings, like one 8 hour/overnight session plus one two hour session. It could be 10 one - hour bookings, but I think that one-hour bookings are rarer. Good point that living in an expensive city means you need to earn more even if you get more clients.

It's quite common. My understanding is that bookings are frequently two or three hours. Mine are only ever an hour, which from talking to professionals is the exception rather than the rule.
We need some professionals to post with an estimate of their average booking length.
I am one of the very few who lives off of cuddling when I’m here in Florida. This week as an example, has had me do 11 hours of cuddling and it’s only Tuesday. I always get bookings of 2-4 hour sessions. Sunday I had two 2 hour bookings, Monday I had a one hour session and a one and a half hour session and today I have two 2 hour sessions. I know I’ll have a few more booked by the end of this week.

I want to have sessions with some of the pros, but I'm also hoping that I don't always have to pay, because as an energy healer I feel like I too have something to offer. And I will offer that work, even if I am paying a pro because that's just who I am and what I do.

@CuddleDuncan @Importance I'd say my average session length is 3 hours. I'm with @Sheena123 that one hour is too short so I structure my pricing to encourage longer sessions. My longest was 13 hours and no it was not an overnight session.

@Importance I often get 4-8 hour booking, because of the pandemic I am only doing two-hour or longer sessions. With all the work that goes into each session, I am honestly not sure I will go back to one hour sessions after the pandemic is over.
