Friends with others that cuddle outside a session or cuddle party... how does that work?

Can those people that are a part of the cuddle community ever mingle with your regular friends? Will it work if they all lied about how they met but then lying in itself is awful. I would say stay completely separate because I don’t like lying and my people outside the cuddle community are too conservative and judgmental.
What would it look like when cuddle buddies come together as friends to hang out and not for a session. Are they always in each other’s space? Do you find yourself always leaning in or on each other.
In 2019 at a cuddle party I learned how important consent is for mutual satisfaction in a cuddle session. I guess while in mixed company unless asked you simply don’t cuddle. If you do probably just public cuddling and anyone observing would think they are cool with each other or like each other. Maybe no real explanation would be necessary?

  • My friends could mix just fine and I'd say all but the most holy rollers of my family probably wouldn't care if they even noticed if we were extra cuddley

  • I'm an open book in my life, so no problem on my end 😂😂 but I do respect if others would prefer to keep it separate.

It's a balance I think. Connection is cool like that.

Maybe I am making too much of it. Idk

I keep my cuddle partners separate from my personal life I don’t know what it would feel like to have a cuddle partner who was part of my every day relationships my friends and family would see me in a totally different light.

  • It's cool that you have enough cuddle partners to do that, lol. I wish I had that problem.

  • It almost seems like if you reach a point where you are interested in sharing your personal time and friends with your cuddle partner that you might just have a connection with that person and there's nothing wrong with that. After all we all have a natural desire to have those connections with people we can feel comfortable around and be ourselves.

  • I suppose it might be different if I cuddled with professionals. I certainly don't invite my therapist to hangout off the clock as it would go beyond the bounds of our relationship.

Yes I do feel a connection with those I cuddle with, we wouldn't be cuddling otherwise.
If I feel safe enough with someone to let down the walls and get all snuggly you can bet they are on the list of people I call friends.

I would not hesitate to introduce my cuddle buddies to my regular friends in appropriate circumstances. I'm entirely open about cuddling and I believe they are too. I wouldn't necessarily mention that they are cuddle buddies: for me cuddle buddies are a species of friend, and so cuddling would come under headings like 'how we met'.

When I'm interacting with my cuddle buddies as friends we behave just like normal friends. For example, I was chatting to a cuddle buddy on the couch recently. We just sat there as ordinary friends would, talking and drinking tea for over an hour without noticing the time. Then we consciously adopted a cuddling position on the couch and continued the conversation.

One of my cuddle buddies has many friends who cuddle. She mentioned that she was going to the cinema with one of them, in the brief moment here when that was allowed. They were hoping for one of the couch seats that that cinema has, so they could cuddle while watching the film. Unfortunately you can't book them in advance, so she said 'if we don't get there early we'll have to sit in the boring seats like normal people'.

It's entirely up to you of course, but in my experience cuddle buddies are just like friends, not love-birds who can't keep their hands off each other.
