Besides cuddling Ofcourse π
Anything that involves being creative!
Playing music! I love to play guitar
Are you artsy @quixotic_life ?
@lets_cuddlee thats pretty bad ass !!
Working on a project be it a vehicle, a gadget, a piece of jewelry or whatever catches my fancy at the moment.
@NightShift39 do it yourself projects are the best!!!
Throw axes. Learning a thing, so I can do my own reno / repair. Writing. Collecting letters on my drivers license. (Next is D)
@MaullySterling youβre very ambitious & determined π
Throwing axes sounds cool as hell I wanna try that
Currently planning a post COVID trip to Tennessee, with co workers. That will be fun
Hope you have a blast there !! : )
I'm not great with axes, knives and throwing spikes on the other hand I'm a fair hand with
@introvme ~ I dabble in many artsy like things. I made my little profile dragon (first go with that medium). But I enjoy sculpture, painting, jewelry making, wood burning, drawing, lettering, string art, paper craft, etc. ~ I have more art supplies than any non professional should ~ lol! I also enjoy the creative side of tinkering/fixing things, but have recently been more into writing than anything else.
@introvme
In the modern Renaissance, if you get up here, let's throw a couple matches!
My need for cuddles stems from lack of hugs at the lanes, this year.
Watching films and writing film reviews, reading self-help books & research journals, listening to podcasts, kayaking, camping, travel trips, and visiting museums.
Very outdoorsy , so something that raises my flight or flight to lower my cortisol levels and get out of my head.
Snowboarding Paddle boarding Swimming Waterfall jumping Hiking Zip line White water rafting Biking Soccer (played in college and play semi currently) Skim Boarding Axe Throwing (just did it last year before COVID and twas fun) I want to learn surfing Meditation (makes me get more in touch with the present so I can be more present in situations outside of it) Breath Work (Didnβt use to realize how many shallow breaths I used to take and also not bringing the breath up all the way to my head)
Glasswork (fused and stained glass). Paper and fabric arts. Knife throwing (yep - same, @NightShift39 ) Writing. Travel (pre and post-Covid).
Note. None of these hobbies overlap except for writing
Does anyone else find it ironic that so many of us cuddle bugs have edgy hobbies involving weapons? Lol one would almost think the worlds a rough place on sensitive souls heh π
@quixotic_life - you & one of my sisters would get along m perfectly sheβs the same way & art is life for her π¨
@MaullySterling have you ever been to Buffalo ny? This year (in the 1st half) Iβm gonna make my way up there to hit up all their famous wings spots π π π Iβm down for cuddles / axe throwing / & wings Ofcourse lol
@TheMidnightOwl researching is absolutely my favorite hobby, I didnβt even know it could be considered one but when Iβm intrigued by something (usually in business) I wonβt stop reading up / & always trying to get to the very source ... I love museums too I really enjoy history so I lean towards the museum of natural history & the planetarium πͺ π & movie theaters Ofcourse (but more for the escape rather than the actual movie)
@cuddleexpert101 youβre 100% the adventurous type- maybe the life of the party too? lol
@Sideon early this year I got hooked watching glass work on YouTube .... they will melt / mold / & shape them into different objects ect ... it was addicting to watch literally 2 weeks straight lol you have a really cool hobby!!
@NightShift39 that crossed my mind too lol
@introvme twisted minds think alike lol
I have a few hobbies that I really enjoy π
As a motorhead all my life, for me it would cars & airplanes, the biggest thing on my bucket list is to fly a P-51 Mustang. I was never into any ball sports, if it didn't have a motor or engine, it wasn't for me. !!! I have owned around 112 cars/trucks and about 19 motorcycles, 1 airplane, so that would list my hobby as a Car NUT, I guess, LOL I built my own race cars and run them on dirt for 3 yrs., I got to drive a race car at Daytona, Atlanta, and Talladega, had a lot of fun doing it. I got to take my motorcycle to Europe and drove on the German race track, the Nurburgring and run the Autobahn with it. That is why I call myself a Motorhead !!!!
@BuggleBear thatβs a really nice list! π
I feel that youβre an old soul π we could definitely survive pre- social media world/era (I know I definitely can lol π€ͺ
I still believe my era shoulda been the 70βs hands down I think the universe got it wrong for me lol
@waynewv Ok color me jealous I've always wanted to hit the ring in one of my cars!!! Only owned 6 bikes and zero planes but cars trucks and boats I've stopped counting lol did dirt track in Hollywood Florida back in the day, and wrecked my share of wagons (and 3 hearses) in demo derby's.
@waynewv youre definitely a MotΓΆrhead (112 car/trucks ) 19 motorcycles and a airplane βοΈ (& here ive only owned 2 cars π
@BuggleBear ~ If I ever get to use this passport of mine...(got it in Feb) I so hope we can hook up for a playdate!! Escape rooms, picture scavenger hunts, quiz writing, thrift stores/treasure hunting, upcycling/modifying clothing, etc. Plus your general points of view/takes on things and your overall bad-assery ~ I so want to hang out with you someday!!! Fun-fun-fun!! π€π
Favorite hobbies would be:
Currently:
Teaching classes on the difference between oneβs ass and a hole in the ground.
Testifying to Congress that the best way to establish a perimeter on Inauguration Day against the alt-right is to line up nurses in masks with vaccines in hand. An anti-vaxers nightmare.
Helping track down the idiots who stormed the Capitol by tracking traces of camo cloth.
@quixotic_life we can do a cultural exchange! That'd be fun. Visit each other and do all of the fun things π
