Reading them? I know people refer to such crowd as “lurkers” but I don’t like that term for them, i think they are the introverts of the online world where they just enjoy reading & don’t necessarily want to participate..
I bet it's actually a lot. I probably read at least 15 posts for every one post that I actually reply to. Ok, back to lurking for me now lol

You can get an idea by comparing the Views number with the Comments number. The ratio varies quite a bit from thread to thread.
I skip commenting on threads I know I have nothing to real to say and don't feel my twisted attempts at humor are proper.

Lol @NightShift39 😅😅😂 ... threads I skip on commenting are those I feel are too controversial or my opinions/thoughts will go against the popular opinion that is being upheld in that thread (due to alliances) ... unless I feel someone is being dragged by everyone & I feel like I share their sentiment all the way, than I’ll consider coming to their defense ... I really wanted to do so a couple times this week & decided not to go through with it, even though I felt exactly like the people being dragged ... ive learned 3 things here ... 1 . People will take things way out of context, 2 . People will make assumptions of what you thought or meant & 3 . People get triggered for total nonsense ...

I posted my first thread. View count was 3. I refreshed it 7 times repeatedly. 😜 The view count went up by 7. So I wonder if views is a true representation.
@TheGMan well it's a representation of the number of individual views, as you say. But all the 'noise' in the view count will be proportionally much the same for most threads, so the number of views will generally give a rough idea whether a lot of people are looking without posting, or just a few.

I see a lot of profiles on this site who I rarely or never see posting in the forums. I imagine there are a lot who don't participate in the forums here.
