Cuddles to watch out for

  • @squeakytoy - This troll is hungry. If you stop feeding it, it'll leave and search elsewhere for food.

    @Mike403 , eh, I was trying to be generous, but you're right. I'll just flag the question and carry on.

  • @Mike403 πŸ‘

    @squeakytoy thank you. :)

  • @squeakytoy Sorry, your question is somewhat diffuse. But let me try to help you. I'm always eager to learn more about cuddling. CuddleDuncan appears to be somewhat of an expert. He referred specifically to cuddling dying relatives, I was curious if there might be a reason why cuddling healthy relatives was less acceptable.

  • @tired - Alright. I'll throw you another bone. Other than a quick hug, cuddling my grandparents has never came to mind. Unless it's your dog, a platonic cuddle just doesn't seem socially acceptable outside of people on this website.

  • @Mike403 That's an entirely reasonable point. It's a subject for another thread, but there's possibly more of a societal stricture against adult men cuddling older relatives than there is against adult women.

    Only if they are caught and convicted. It might not be a bad idea to check though. If only groping occurred, that may be hard to prove. Even if a rape occurred, the guy could lie and say it was consensual. Some actual rapists may never make the list while somebody else becomes a registered sex offender because he was caught peeing in public. :/

    Exactly. People don’t seem to realize the conviction rate for even the felony of rape is less than 10%. (The lowest of any crime.) And not because all the victims were lying. Even the FBI states the rate of false reports is about 1%. And yes, even for that crime, the dude far more often than not does not believe he has done anything wrong. Our justice systems have a long record of completely failing victims of sexual crimes. These crimes are the only type where the victim becomes the center of the investigation and the burden of proof becomes their expectation to prove. Everything @squeakytoy said is true.

    @BbwCuddleBuddy7
    I am so sorry that happened. I wish I could say your experience is rare. 😞 I hope you’ve been able to process that with a therapist and find some peace in the aftermath.

    @tired
    How are your contributions to this thread relevant? Kind? Considerate? Nitpicking one word from a generalized example by @CuddleDuncan is none of those things. We don’t have to post every argumentative thought that crosses our mind, ya know. Discretion is a skill that mature adults use.

    Thanks @TheMidnightOwl ! :)

    EDIT: And yeah, you're on point. In my city, they did a pretty depressing study in 2018. They compared the amount of ER trips by victims of rape with the number of them that actually ended in police reports, and statistics on what happened next. They went into a lot of the reasons behind it all, too. If you feel like some heavy reading:

  • Consent should happen every step of the way when you are touching another human body! Consent is sexy!

  • @Importance - Agreed! Somebody mentioned that the guy wouldn't stop kissing her claiming it was natural. What are we? F'n animals? I thought humans were smarter than that. :(

  • [Deleted User]DarkLordChungus (deleted user)

    @Mike403

    "What are we? F'n animals?" Yes.

    "I thought humans were smarter than that." No.

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

    Aw, man. Beat me to it. I was gonna say,

    @Mike403: Humans are animals. A capacity for self-justification doesn't change that.

  • It’s a race between Darren and Chungus... you two are the best!!!

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

    The best what, however, remains to be seen.

    Personally, going to require people with no Karma show their state ID before in person booking. I already require them to book a virtal session as well.

    Sucks Karma can help but still not protect you.
    Had a guy with 5 star karma get completely naked and try to sexually solicit me.
    Was very sickening and makes me wonder if the women before were complacent or encoraging in his actions. Noticing a lot of men will test boundaries and try to manipulate you or take advantage.

    β€œCan you wear lingerie?”
    β€œWould you do it for this amount instead?”
    β€œCan I releave myself to you?.”

    Pros need to put their foots down immediatley in these situations in establishing boundaries or else they will think they can abuse any of us. DO NOT LET THEM CONVINCE YOU TO BEND OR BREAK RULES OR YOUR OWN PERSONAL MORALS!

  • Eew! @Snuggle_Burrito ~ Got naked?!

    "Had a guy with 5 star karma get completely naked and try to sexually solicit me."

    I would have become completely unhinged! Gad fricken zooks! Wth makes someone think that is okay?! 🀬

    @Importance ~ All the Yeses!!!

    "Consent should happen every step of the way when you are touching another human body!"

    Yep! Always!!! πŸ€—

  • @Snuggle_Burrito - (sigh) Stories like this is depressing. :( I'm sorry that happened to you. This is why I have no problem with pros requiring payment up front. The fear of being scammed out of money is nothing compared to the fear of being sexually assaulted. Of course it can still happen, but at least you can get up and leave and still keep the money.

  • @quixotic_life - God gave men balls to give women a place to kick when we misbehave.

  • You can always punch them in the balls if they are naked. I mean it’s in the constitution. You can’t make stuff like this up. πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’

  • [Deleted User]squeakytoy (deleted user)

    @Snuggle_Burrito , that is bloody awful and I'm so sorry. I wish I could say I was surprised :( I've never put much weight on karma on here. I've always seen a specific problem with it: if you give someone bad karma, or leave them a bad review, they could always do the same, whether it's fair or not. All you can do after that is protest the unfair karma/review, and then it would boil down to who the mods believe is telling the truth.

    (I want to say, I don't know how much it would impact a pro if his/her clients left a less-than-stellar review. Most of the professional profiles I've seen have nothing less than 5 star reviews, so I imagine there's at least some pressure - could any pros weigh in on this?)

  • Squeaky, I agree that karma is problematic. I wouldn’t rely on it to pick anyone.

  • @squeakytoy @Importance karma can sometimes be the equivalent of you dont say anything bad about men and ill do the same .

  • [Deleted User]squeakytoy (deleted user)

    @pmvines , yeah, that's exactly the problem I see with it.

  • Does anyone ever give a 2-4 star karma rating? YouTube switched from a star rating to like or dislike. That would kind of make more sense here.

    That is my random thought of the day. Carry on.

  • I wish I could use a thumbs up on the post that i like in the threads. I’m not so sure that a thumbs up or thumbs down will fix anything in the karma section. The women that are being paid to cuddle want their customers to come back and pay them again. They will always give them a thumbs up unless things are just outrageously inappropriate.

    Please help me have a more open mind. I need someone that can put together an excellent argument as to why karma is valuable. I only see karma as a waste of time.

    If some man is truly violent or a predator then the cops should be called. Otherwise, the professionals just deal with the bullshit just like the rest of us. Except they might deal with it again because they’re looking for a paycheck.

  • I think if you're looking at karma, you should be looking at what was said and pretty much ignore the stars. You can learn a lot from what is, or isn't written about someone, how they did or didn't respond to it, and/or by checking what they said in the other person's Karma. All that can tell you a lot more than stars, or a thumb up/thumb down, system will. IMO.

  • @Importance - What would you dock someone's karma rating for other than the obvious(like not respecting boundaries)? Be honest.

  • Of course all of my karma is legitimately awesome and verifiably accurate πŸ˜‹

  • [Deleted User]squeakytoy (deleted user)

    @quixotic_life, I really like this approach - ignoring karma, reading between the lines on reviews, and cross-checking reviews between profiles sounds like another good way to figure out what someone's interactions with other people have been like.

  • Well duh @pmvines ~ Same here! 🀣😘
