If yes tell me when?
I dunno—I feel like me. I have a job and manage to function in a society that I loathe. Different people will have different ideas about what being an adult means. As such, it doesn't strike me as being worthwhile to attribute any value to that descriptor when it comes one's personality, or as a way of lending importance to achievements or goals*.
*These things are also fabricated by the society in which one resides, and they also strike me as hollow.
I don’t ... I’m a kid at heart all the way, I’m responsible with my job / finances / and when situations call for it... I’ll turn that switch off even with myself when I’m trying to gain knowledge or solve problems ect or when situations call for it... I should also add it depends on comfort level with who I’m around.
Nope I may have a job and cover Bill's pay taxes blah blah blah but I've also got a trip planned to run off and play house for the weekend while eating junk food and watching cute movies and cartoons while cuddled up in a pillow and blankie fort.
So no I feel like a kid with some minor amount of disposable income lmao.
Adult? Well, I'm thirty-one. I definitely feel like I've lived that long. Got all the years in memory.
I can remember being younger, go back mentally and grab an earlier emotional state, sure. But my age doesn't actually change. I'm still an adult. The years don't go away if I ignore them.
Though I guess I act dumber.
Wait does feeling all the damage living a wild and exciting life has done to my body count? Cuz then I feel like an old man lmao
Meh ~ I'll never be a real "adult" It just doesn't seem like much fun...
Frankly, it depends on what you think a grown up is. Me, I tend to go with "physically adult"—which, well, I am. Sure don't feel like I'm three feet high with a disproportionately large head anymore. Voice feels fully developed. Brain capable of making more connections than it was. Muscles stronger. Stomach weaker. No more teeth hanging out up in my skull waiting to pop out of my jaw. All that good stuff.
3 had a higher percentage than i had expected
I am beginning to, only in the last couple of years. It's been caused by knowing people in their twenties - themselves adults, some of them parents.
