I am an atheist so it goes against the core belief of absence of afterlife , but when I lived in Vermont a lot of things happened that i cannot explain and i would think whoever was telling me these things were full of it . But I saw things and experienced things with no explanation first hand , and not just one or twice, but on a continual basis . So who knows . I say all this to say that If there are indeed a such thing as haunting , sure , I am not afraid of that sort of thing .
Depends on the ghost. I don't mind the idea of chains and rocking chairs, but little kid laughter or a squeaky trike wheel and I'm out!!

@pmvines is it possible that you’re Agnostic? before I would always think I was Atheist , because I felt that there were only 2 options, you either believe in religion or you don’t ... so I felt like, fine... I’m atheist! than later on when I gained a broader understanding I learned about spiritualism (which accepts no religion) & being Agnostic, I like to think & feel I’m spiritual but I also accept that I’m agnostic as to where I’m saying - I don’t know -
Not sure . I've given it thought before and assessed my feelings and I really don't know. I still feel more atheist than agnostic .

Well the human body runs on electrical and biochemical energy, since energy can be neither created nor destroyed but only transformed, it stands to reason some traces of that MIGHT stick around after the body no longer houses it, that doesn't mean it can think, but disrupt things in its field of influence? Sure its possible...

I used to be a total skeptic but then I lived in an old farmhouse where I had friendly ghosts. I felt it as soon as I walked into the place. It felt full. While I was moving in, I had a porch swing that moved halfway across the floor while I was unloading my truck, with nobody else in the house. So I talked and introduced myself and said “this is me and my dog, we will be living here. We don’t mind you being here but please be considerate and don’t scare us” LOL. Very often, after I went to bed it sounded like people were having hushed conversations in the living room, like they were trying to keep down the noise for me. Very often my dog would act like he was playing with someone but nobody was there. Plus I would always smell old-school men’s aftershave wafting around, but especially if I had male visitors. Any of my family or friends that stayed overnight ended up experiencing things like this, without me telling them anything, so maybe I’m not going crazy LOL. I learned to live with it. I think I would be completely comfortable with a haunted cuddle sesh, as long as the vibes of the person and place felt good... but then again isn’t that always the rule
