  • Definitely cuddle!

  • For the question . It depends.
I do some hiking and sometimes go overboard.
Then its a nice full body massage,
@sjb1973 . I have thought about asking my massage therapist for a cuddle. Thats as far as i got with that idea. :3

  • A Pro cuddler once ask me.
Why do you prefer cuddle over sex and or massage. ( either one you get oxytocin)

    My response:
    Cuddle is more affection.

  • @hawker69 You made me laugh with your last 2 sentences. I can picture that scenario in my head and it doesn't turn out well in the end. lol. However, I'd love to see their facial expression if someone asked them that question. :#

  • @nolez2020 - I don't know about a full-blown cuddle, but the last couple of massages I had, over a year ago, my massage therapist surprised me with a big hug as I was about to leave. Another time, as I arrived, she ran up behind me and tried to surprise me and that turned into another hug.

  • Cuddling for sure

Cuddling for me, cuddling is much more intimate. My cuddling partner can rest in my arms and hopefully enjoying the moment with me. When I go for a massage, the massage therapist is working hard to massaging my muscles

  • I would only choose cuddling over massage if it was with my late wife. But she's passed away so massage. 100%.

  • @dontremember . I always get a BIG HUNG just before I leave my Massage therapist. And I mean a BIG HUG.
@nolez2020 Saying that I just might ask her. I have known her for four years.

  • Massage because I already have an abundance of cuddling in my life and its been a very long time since I got a professional massage.

Massage right now because I have some joint issues . . . lol It would make me more flexible to cuddle! :)

Hard question there just 'cause massage and cuddling have two different outcomes. When I get massaged, I leave feeling physically relaxed, flexible, and just better overall, but cuddling helps combat anxiety. 😌

  • I have faced this choice many times.

The answer depends on which one hurts more at the time: the soul or the body.

Well I asked my Massage Theorist
I got a massage this morning. While I was getting my big good buy hug I asked,
She said Yes . She will charge 80 for the massage . my insurance pays 75 % of that and
50 for a cuddle right after massage. Cuddle not covered

  • How would that work considering that others may.end up in and out of the area and massage table is not made for.double occupancy

@pmvines Its called a 1 hr massage on a massage table in her massage room ,
followed by a 1 hr Cuddle on a couch in her den. Cuddle on a massage table ?????
Massage is in her private home. She is a full blown Registered Massage Therapist.

  • I dont know what her furniture situation is. Neat

  • The main advantage of massage is that the practitioners are trained and licenced. It's also far more available that cuddling.

  • Different stroke for different folks?

  • Not a question for me, massage. I ache all over from working, both the haunt work and my regular job. I've only ever had one massage.

  • Easy question. Include some massage or gentle caressing during a cuddle session. Everybody seems to like some kind of backrub/neck rub. And you don't have to stand off to the side to give one. Have cuddlebuddy flip onto stomach, straddle them & you can give a light massage or heavy & deep by putting more or less weight on your hands. Experiment, find out what feels best, or roam from waist up, shoulders, neck, arms. A lighter person may be able to sit on buddy's butt. If reversing & too much pressure on a person's rear, sit up a bit on your knees.

Also you can do caressing style, facing, lying on side. I've got rough & calloused hands from ranch work, but the people I've been lucky enough to cuddle have enjoyed a flat rough hand reaching around like a hug & caressing the back & shoulders. And by facing, your buddy can rub your back too.

So with trust & experimentation you can enjoy both!

  • @cuddleaddict Very true and nicely described!πŸ€—πŸ‘πŸΏ

  • Cuddling for the win!! You can receive and massage and lack a spiritual connection. Cuddling and recreating what someone is dealing with allows much more for hearts to open and barriers disappear leaving both parties being more free, powerful and self expressed in life!

For only one hour, I'd go with massage, especially with the aches and pains that I get in my back and shoulders. Just enough time to relax and get those worked out. Also, not that people can't have an enriching experience in a one-hour cuddle, but I'm the type who prefers a longer cuddle session to let that enriching experience become more comforting over time. I think the more time you can spend with that person, the deeper the feeling of trust and comfort can grow.

If it's one hour of either or nothing at all, I'll take the cuddle though!

  • I say both at the same time. It’s totally possible to wrap someone up and cuddle them while also giving a massage. Just have to use all those limbs.

  • cuddling!

  • If I didn't have much body pain from medical issues, I'd go with cuddle.

  • Massage because I am already spoiled with cuddles and I am sore from working out and often laying in the same position for extended periods of time.

    Massage πŸ’†πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

  • Snuggles. I’m not a person who enjoys receiving a massage very often. Oddly enough I enjoy giving foot massages though, and have been told I’m adept at it.
