    I LOVE THIS THREAD!!

  • @pmvines Actually, no, pandas are not bears. They're just as un-bear-y as koalas are. They're actually in the raccoon family.

@HugAnEwok There was a long-standing debate on about whether pandas were more like bears or raccoons, but eventually, giant pandas did get classified as being true bears (as far as I've read).

Red pandas are apparently not classified as either bears or raccoons. They're the only members of their own family :(

(Oh man... going off topic on threads has gotta be the most commonly broken rule in the CC forums :joy: It's so terrible. But why is it so much fun?!)

  • @squeakytoy might I point you to the gripes and other grievances thread ....

  • [Deleted User]squeakytoy (deleted user)

@pmvines But I'll just end up derailing that one, too! I ruin everything I touch, man.

  • @squeakytoy Really? I never heard that. I find that surprising, considering that pandas are herbivores, unlike most bears.

@HugAnEwok Yep, if you do a quick google search you'll see quite a few sources.

  • Hedgehogs are my favourite animal, but too spiky to cuddle.
Here is one getting a bath:

  • @UKGuy he’s so cuuuuuuute!!! πŸ₯°

Omgosh. @squeakytoy you are so dang cute! The OPPOSITE OF THIS THREAD. A cuddleable cutie pie in a SCARY SHARK onesie!!

    THE SLOW LORIS β™₯️

With their large, endearing eyes and adorably soft fur, the slow loris couldn't possibly be that dangerous, right? Wrong. Those endearingly plump cheeks mask a set of hazardous jaws, making the slow loris the world's only venomous primate. The slow loris actually secretes venom in a gland in its elbow, which it then sucks into its mouth and mixes with saliva to transmit through its bite. The venom is potent enough to induce anaphylactic shockβ€”so it's definitely best to keep your distance.

    @sillysassy D'AAAWW!!

Also, the slow loris is freakin' terrifying. I feel like it could be a creature in one of Jim Henson's more messed-up movies or series.

A lot of men on, and off, this site.

  • I am going to petition to have koalas removed from the list. I cuddled a koala in Australia. Its claws were massive, but the injuries I sustained were purely accidental. Only 30 stitches and a round of heavy antibiotics, and I was fine! πŸ˜‰ 😜

An ugly thing that looks scary but is actually quite content when held correctly

  • Francis my door greeter . He may look festive and friendly, but is actually quite the savage

  • @KYtranspant is that a turkey

  • What a great thread. My idea of the rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail was already taken. I've literally been laughing out loud reading/seeing your posts. Thanks.

  • Strippers, not while working, you can look but no touching. Bodyguards will remove you from the premises.
Strippers that are not at work is a different story.

  • @cuddle4health I think it depends on what you tip . A friend told me πŸ˜‡

  • @pmvines Oh I see, I think my friends are probably not tipping enough lol
