A post on the forum that spoke of a cuddle party sparked my interest. I’ve never encountered one, therefore what is a cuddle party and how does one find one?
That’s a very fair question and something I’d like to know as well. I’ve only experienced them at an EDM festival and it was pretty incredible.

Maybe you could find a cuddle party in Florida or Texas but probably not in most places with Covid
There are a couple other groups that train professional cuddlers as well ... cuddle sanctuary is one. The local meeting here is on hold because of COVID but she lists it on meetup and on her Facebook page when it is happening. And the site that she uses ( a holistic collective whixh rents space to counselors, reiki practitioners, other new age type people) has a website and they list it. I found it through a Google search. Try looking for cuddles party, cuddle group, cuddle social... Different groups use different names due to copyrights and so forth. also search professional cuddlers...

https://www.meetup.com/Community-Cuddles-Meetup This woman is in Boulder. She was my first experience with cuddle parties and I have to say.... the facilitator 100% makes or breaks the group. She works with “consent” in schools and the business world. Her gentle nature helps crazy extroverted people like me just as much as a really strong introvert or people who are healing from past hurts surrounding touch. She is doing some Zoom stuff and I believe @nurturingman might have some input as well.
As soon as this crazy pandemic is over I will be going back!!!
The cuddle parties I’ve attended have been hosted by friends and are invitation only so everyone there is known to the host. If you’re invited, you can bring a friend but you are responsible for their behavior. They should not arrive before you or stay after you leave until they’ve established themselves within the group. The folks I know who host or attend these are all about consent, it’s a very safe environment. A lot of them are burners.
I know nothing about these formal open to the public organized events.

Cuddleparty.com is a good place to start, as others have said. Also many cuddle groups list their events on Meetup. If you're interested in cuddle parties, those are definitely the two places to check.
My local group, like most, is currently inactive but may start holding cuddle-centric events as early as this summer, depending on several factors. I expect the warmer weather will allow for group hangouts at a park for chatting and catching up soon.
Yes, I believe it was @sillysassy who referred me to Kassandra Brown, who is a certified Cuddlist and one of the moderators of the Cuddlist training (she’ll be reviewing all my homework once I complete the Cuddlist training). She hosts monthly online cuddle parties over Zoom. I attended one and liked all the consent activities, but there wasn’t much time for cuddling oneself or others you might be with in person. I’d love to participate in and facilitate actual cuddle parties someday soon. On Cuddleparty.com I see there are no listings for Arizona, much less Phoenix, so apparently that’s an opening I might fill.
