@CuddlesinSoCal at its heart, Cuddle Comfort is a place for people in pain. It seems to me that you are in a great deal of pain. There is help here for you, of various kinds, but you have to find a way to let us help you. I missed your recent posts, sadly, but from what's left it doesn't feel to me that @DarrenWalker was harassing you. Neither was anybody else.
'Platonic only' is not only a profound principle of this site, it is also a raw, open wound. Many if not most if not all of the women here have suffered sexual harassment or abuse, as well as quite a few of the others. Some suffer it on this site nearly every day. As a consequence, suggesting sexual activity here is like bringing steak tartare to a vegan picnic.
As a community, we want to help you. And we will, if we can, we really will.

The clearly defined expectations provided by the site are there to help, not hurt. "No chasing after non-platonic relationships" is a good rule. Breaking it is bad.

In retrospect, he started lashing out the second a mod responded to his "I also don't think there is anything wrong with perusing something more than platonic cuddling" comment with a note that pursuing non-platonic relationships here is actually a bannable offense, and his "when I said there wasn’t anything wrong with seeking something non platonic with a cuddle buddy, I didn’t really mean regarding relationships with hired pros" deflection didn't work.
Like @squeakytoy said, "The rule applies to enthusiasts as well, not just pro/client relationships." Ooh, toxic discourse! It's an astounding conclusion. One wonders where he gets his premises.

@CuddlesinSoCal it is true that @DarrenWalker is my friend. And it is true that not everything they said was loving and caring. But there is a big ol' gap between "not caring" and "harrassment", which is where normal conversation lives. I missed your comments before they were deleted, but from the screenshots and quotations given it seems they were not very pleasant. If they are accurate, and you had left them up, then the moderators would have invited you to enjoy a holiday from the forum. They may do so anyway.
(As a side note, are you familiar with the concept of 'projection', from the world of psychology? It's an all-too-common part of human behaviour, where one individual accuses another of something that they themselves are doing. Read up on it, it's possible that it's part of what's happening here.)
I would like to go back to the beginning. Here is my understanding of what's happening, I may be wrong.
CuddlesinSoCal made a comment about how it was ok for people to suggest non-platonic activities. He meant that as a comment on society in general, but that detail wasn't entirely clear. A number of people were concerned that he meant it was ok to do that on Cuddle Comfort, which it emphatically is not. Confusion and general discord then arose.
So, @CuddlesinSoCal, bring us back on topic. What is it that you really wanted to say in this thread?

What a strange thing that would be to say on a CC thread about trouble getting cuddles here; and it didn't sound like that was what he was saying at all. If that's what he meant, boy howdy, no wonder people were confused!
