I dunno, the site seems okay to me. Forums are about as busy as they have been the whole six years I've been here (maybe a bit busier now more people have more time on their hands).
As websites go, I think this one's at least as alive as it's ever been.
I think that people took necessary precautions. As more people get vaccinated and become more comfortable meeting up the site will return to being more active.
I don't know what it was like before the pandemic but the site is very much alive and well at the moment. The forums are active and healthy, and in my area at least (which is clearly not unique) there are plenty of professionals and a small but active enthusiast community.
For awhile it wasn't as active. Lately I have seen it come alive again. The pandemic had an affect on it but things are moving again.

For me, Covid has definitely reduced the number of people I meet up with IRL off this site (for obvious reasons). But I've been meeting up with one person IRL, meeting with another virtually, and chatting to a bunch of others who I hope to meet one day when all this craziness is over. And like others have said, the forums are still pretty active! So I think the site's far from dead.
This site was very helpful to me during my months of isolation. I learned a lot about cuddling from this site, so after I was vaccinated I felt ready to get out there and cuddle. Now I've already cuddled with five people I met on this site, one of whom was greatly instrumental in my development over the past eight months. Meeting him and cuddling with him at last was a joy! (Shout out to @SuperManCuddles!) No, I wouldn't say COVID killed CuddleComfort.

For me I’d say it hasn’t. The only cuddles I’ve had on this site were after the pandemic. I’ve also been way more active in the forums due to having a bit more free time. Distance is also no longer a factor due to covid with virtual cuddles. I think covid has increased the need for this site, not killed it.

Me personally, I’ve been on this site for two years now and it’s definitely a big difference (at least for me) during the pandemic. It has really died down since the whole pandemic started. As far as the forums, the same people are commenting so that answers your question as well.

Oh God. Not another benign thread that devolves into pros somehow being at fault for people not being active or finding success. No one is forcing people to book with someone they can’t afford, or to stop contacting enthusiasts. 🤷🏼♀️ And I say this as someone who concurs with most certification bodies that the average trained pro is worth around $80-$90. People can charge what they like at the end of the day until pro cuddling is regulated.
Covid forced cuddling to simmer, allowed to be more cerebral, less impulsive, allowed connections to develop, it gave people a sense of missing what they had, which is why they found the site in the first place, if forced us as a community to be mindful, no one wants to be a superspreader, im not saying people did what they wanted, it takes two to cuddle, there been alot more conversations, it brought out the best; It made everyone vulnerable, and all look to find others to hold them in open arms, there will be a surge of cuddles to come.

It hasn't killed this site - but has killed quite a few other cuddling sites. I think that's testament to how strong & resilient this site and community is. Trends show things are picking up and will keep getting better.
