If your reaction to that comment is along the lines of denying that you have chosen it, it means that the choice was unconscious. It is therefore something for you to think about.
How do I know that's true? Because your response has nothing at all to do with anything that I wrote. Therefore, it must be coming from your unconscious. (Unless you did it consciously of course.)
In other words, it has to do with all the psychological stuff that has been stirred up by the pandemic. Instead of considering that stuff - which, to be fair, is a very tough thing to do - you are lashing out at all around you. The evidence, the people trying to help you, me.
I have my own stuff, by the way. Most people on this forum do. In the interests of full disclosure I'm in a twice-weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy group.
So the question is, how did you get from my post about an article in the Lancet and vaccination certificates being a long-standing requirement for travel (like passports and being clothed from the waist down), to your post?

Fully vaccinated Moderna. I liked the high I got from the first one, but the second one I felt like I was literally imploding in slow motion. But, that's the downside to nanomites that give you premonition super-powers to see other people's alternate universe future timelines.
First Pfizer jab done. Quick and painless, over in a minute. Felt more like a minor scratch than a needle. It paled in comparison to my BCG as kid!
Have that standard heavy arm feeling, and overall feel a tad groggy but that's just a good sign my immune system has started producing antibodies. Looking forward to being fully vaccinated.
Stay in your house and wear a mask. Problem solved.

Welcome to the forum, @Funguy87. Sid is indeed a moderator. He is very fair. For example I could not hazard a guess at who he votes for, or even if he votes at all. I've never seen any mod here moderate a post because they disagreed with it. (Mods are also members and may disagree with other members in the usual way of conversation, I have seen that.)
Your post could be construed as baiting (especially by somebody fishing for an argument) because it does not contribute or even allude to the considerable debate that has already happened in this thread. History teaches us that people who make posts like yours frequently go on to make subsequent posts which breach the Terms of Service of the site. You of course may be an exception, and I hope you are. There is a minor problem on this site of people (especially new posters) posting lies or disinformation relation to the pandemic and the site is therefore sensitive to posts such as yours, which could alternatively be construed as a 'tester' to see what the poster could get away with.
Nobody is allowed to attack anybody here - that is a very fast and effective way of getting yourself banned.
To return to your post, I find it somewhat dismissive of the millions of people who have died, and the many millions more who have been seriously ill. I can't help feeling that if staying at home and wearing a mask really would solve the problem, then it would be solved by now. It also raises the troubling question of what we're all going to eat, if we're all staying at home.
I have been vaccinated. Pfizer. I did so reluctantly but never the less did. I did it so the masks would go away. Follow the science has been the cry right up until the CDC said masks are no longer needed. The CDC ‘s recommendation was good enough to shut down the economy but not good enough to open it. Yes this virus is terrible but it’s time to move on.
Second Pfizer shot on April 12, so fully vaccinated for more than a month.

@Funguy87 we had never really experienced anything like covid before. Especially in modern times. So people saying follow the science were 100% accurate. Science is a tool that we can use for measurement. For something to be scientific it has to be replicable and falsifiable. It is not always going to be 100% correct but it's the best tool that we know of right now.
Also when did the CDC say it's safe for us not to wear masks anymore?

Well, here's me, looking at a maskless customer heading straight for me with their mouth wide open, right? And I've seen this at least once every week I've worked for the past year, when people were definitely not vaccinated, and what did they all say? "It's fine, I don't have it, it's just a flu anyway, I can't wear a mask, I have a medical exemption."
So now they say "it's fine, I don't have it, it's just a flu anyway, and I'm vaccinated"—and you know what? I don't believe them any more now than I did last year, when they gave me a disease that left me with what appear to be permanent breathing issues.
I can't tell a genuinely vaccinated person from a liar just by looking. No, I have to wait and see if I get sick—and you know what? I don't wanna find out that way. Not again.
So, sure, a fully vaccinated person can go without a mask.
But I really, really hope they don't.

As for the people with medical exemptions: if they think it's hard to breathe through a mask I only imagine how hard it would be to breathe with covid.

Yes! I got my 2nd dose Covid-19 vaccine by Pfizer May 24, 2021. I just had mild soreness on my arm briefly, otherwise I feel great. So I'm excited to resume in-person cuddle sessions once again starting June 10, 2021. It's been so long since I cuddled my clients since March 2020, I have been in long hiatus from the cuddling world. It's great to return to some normalcy.

They CAN force people to isolate as long as they are capable of infecting others. Does anyone working in public health WANT to do this? HELL NO. So don't make them get out the draconian measures, just get the darn vaccine. It's literally the least painful vaccine I've ever had. Alternatively, accept that your decision not to get vaccinated comes with the responsibility to avoid any chance of contracting the virus, therefore you can't travel, can't shop in stores, etc.
No one is free to endanger the health and/or safety of others. No one is free from the consequences of their choices.
You also wrote "I simply don't care" and "I have absolutely zero sympathy for you". As a nurse, I find this appalling and honestly I'm surprised anyone would admit such things publicly. But sometimes it just gets [to be] too much. This morning I looked up and the doctor resident was bawling, crying in his mask, and I started crying and the other nurse started crying. We’re all human, you know, there’s only so much we can take." Another nurse: "I’m not seeing my 2-year-old son, so that part has been really difficult. I would never want to put my child at risk. I FaceTime him everyday, but my mom sometimes thinks it’s not such a great idea, because then he walks around the house calling my name and looking for me. Sometimes I think that maybe it’s easier if I let him forget about me, but I don’t know how long this whole situation is going to last, and I don’t want him to forget me."
I personally, and all the other nurses who work in my health care system, were required to take an online crash course in how to take care of critically ill patients. I have not worked at the bedside in 10 years, nor do I have critical care experience. A quick video on how to silence the alarms IN NO WAY qualifies me to care for those patients. Yet if the &#%@ hit the fan, and they had to do it, they 100% would call me in. It would be an absolute nightmare.
