@Bbmm: Testing negative is good. But you can always pick up the disease after you've taken the test—like, I'm definitely bullet negative right now, but after I step into a war zone? No guarantees.
Of course, there are people who like danger. People whose kink is getting sick, even. Which is fine with me, so long as I'm not endangered.
Basically: You could probably find somebody willing to risk catching the Covid you may have picked up since your last test. But if you do, um... don't either of you breathe on anyone else or touch anything they've gotta touch, hey? They didn't agree to that gamble.
“I took four tests and they were all negative.”
Until you finally take the test where you’ve been exposed and you’re no longer negative.
Let’s not forget that we just dropped under 22,000 new cases of COVID-19 per day this past Memorial Day weekend. That was close to the same number of average new cases per day on June 1, 2020, when it already seemed astronomical and was still climbing. June 4, 2021, was 14,000+ new cases, almost 24,000 hospitalized, and 414 deaths. Yes, the number of cases is decreasing because of vaccination and the death rate has dropped because of better treatment but we’re not out of the woods yet.
Death is only the worst case scenario. We have no idea of the number of “long-haulers,” people who stay ill for months, or the long term effects that the damage to lungs, kidneys, heart, liver, blood vessels, and nervous system may cause, even in people who are young or did not get very sick. We’ve already seen healthy young college athletes have to give up their sport because of damage to lungs or heart.
Sounds like something a guy might say who was trying to convince a partner to not use condoms. Doesn’t even matter if you took the test yesterday because if you were just recently exposed, you might not have enough of a viral load for it to show up on a test or the test may not have gotten a good sample.
Nope. I’m vaccinated and I’m going to insist on those who want to get physically close to me be fully vaccinated, too.
I’ve had my first Pfizer jab! No after effects apart from a sore arm.
Got mine in April😍
Yes!
Fully vaxxed since April! #TeamModerna
got my 2nd dose Moderna on June 4. Side effect kicked-in a day after: chilling, fever. I didn't take any "medicine"(Advil, Tylenol...) to relieve my discomfort, I simply drank plenty of liquid, had a watermelon(to lower body temperature). After a good night sleep, I felt fine, as fever had never happened to me. The side-effect simply showed that it's working, the body is building-up defense.
Second AZ today. All well except that every time I go past a large metal object my arm flies out and sticks to it.
Vaccinated since early March. Moderna.
After my second shot of Moderna the Beatles White Album played in my head for several days.
Iam fully vaccinated with Moderna, I got the second shot in June 2. I hope this keeps us protected while cuddling and going to public places
Had second dose feb 11 of moderna
Yes
Got my 2nd jab on Saturday Pfizer It was at drive through at the MD of Rocky View office in Calgary. Did not even get out of my car It went VERY slick . There were 9 jab site stations in a ware house . 9 vehicles at a time entered a building . In and out in 5 minutes . No side effects and No sore arm I just have one question. Did any one else get Probed ???
I just got my first shot today! Good grief, it took forever to get that damn appointment. It was Moderna. My arm currently feels like I did 1000 one-arm pushups.
Yes!!! Fully vaccinated.
Yep since early February
Cheers to those of us doing our part and to those who wish they could, but can't.
I've been fully vaxed with Pfizer since Feb. 23rd, still wearing my mask around those I don't live with, and sanitize regularly when out and about too. Because I can and I feel I should. ♡
@squeakytoy The fact that you know how your arm feels after 1000 one-arm pushups is quite impressive!!
Yes, FINALLY I'm fully vaccinated. I got Pfizer 1st dose May 3, 2021 & my 2nd dose Pfizer May 24, 2021. I didn't even get sick, just a mild soreness on my arm which quickly went away. Because of this damn pandemic, I took a LONG HIATUS of 15 months even though many clients were requesting in-person cuddle sessions, I didn't accept any in-person cuddle sessions for 15 months straight no cuddles, while I was waiting to get vaccinated. Now that I'm fully vaccinated, I came back to the site June 10, 2021 & I'm now cuddling with clients again 🤗.
@valkyrievixen Okay, the description might have been sliiiiightly hyperbolic
I am more than halfway to needing my booster shot. (they are saying after six months).
