  • Safe from what? Inappropriate touching? or perhaps covid-related safety?

  • I think you answered your own question @AdrianaPNW. Your profile states, “ Warning: as a cuddler i do carry protection as i have had bad cuddlers in the past.”

  • It goes both ways. Cuddlers and clients have to both feel safe.

I have only done one cuddle, but I felt safe just by the way she responded. There were no red flags.

You can always do a quick video chat to make yourself feel more comfortable.

  • I always zoom video call first to verify the other person looks like how they claim.

Any contact information like a cell phone of addy I make sure I put that, as well as the official day and meeting time within a cuddle comfort (cc) chat message (so that if I suddenly go missing, cc has a record of my last planned meeting with them.

Could always tell a trusted friend those same details, as well as the cc user's username, so again they have something to go off of and to give the police if anything crazy happens. Could also tell them, I'll text you before and after the meeting, if you don't hear from me, call the police to this addy.

Could also write those details on a piece of paper on your home, date, time, so they have them there too should the police need to search.

If worried, meet in public first, and chat with them, and only go with them if you feel comfortable. Could do a public cuddle in a movie theater. Could ask and see if they have any other means of verifying themselves. Stuff like that is all helpful.

If it's in terms of inappropriate touch, clarify early on your cuddle rules. Only platonic, no touching in the swimsuit areas. If they push it, warn them or leave. Agreeing to cuddle by the cuddle party rules can be helpful, which is to say, before any cuddling occurs, make a rule that the person has to ask for it first, and only follow through if the other person says "yes" in agreement. And a rule that people can change their minds at anytime. Stuff like this can help you stay safe and hopefully discourage bad behavior.

If uncertain, could focus on only cuddling ppl with positive feedback.

  • Listen to your inner voice , if any doubts or concerns when setting up a booking or odd vibes than decline, and always let someone you really trust know where you’re going / & with who & their contact info (# & location)

  • Excellent points @cuddleYouMe ; As my previous cuddle partners will all communicate with you as well if you ask them, each of them (except for one who video chatted with me first) and I met outside of a local coffee shop before they came to cuddle as a guest in my home. I have felt safer that way, and hopefully they have too.

  • this isnt just about me its about also awareness and tips for others then me as well (forgot to include in this forum) if you cant be nice just scroll.

  • @AdrianaPNW looks like all posters have been very respectful of your question! 😊

I personally request a phone session prior to the appointment. If you need more, you can request a coffee date before the session which can help smooth over nerves and give you a better idea of who you are dealing with. :)

When it comes to meeting people on this site or others, I always follow the same rules:

    1. I chat with them on-site for long enough to see if we develop some rapport. If anything's off, I leave it at that and don't go any further.
    2. If I enjoy chatting with them online, I meet them in public or zoom next to get a "feel" for them IRL. I usually don't even give them off-site contact information before that. If anything's off, I don't meet them again.
    3. I always tell at least a few people when I'll be out meeting someone new
    4. Finally, what @cuddleYouMe said: I write down a lot of what I'm doing (on-site, in text messages to friends, etc) in case I do go missing. And, on my first time meeting someone, I don't stray too far from those plans.

The majority of the online strangers I've met up with have been pretty awesome, so I'm happy with my filtering system :)

  • I really haven't cuddled. Doesn't get much safer than that.

  • Have a safety contact and use location sharing with them. Set up a safety call as well, so they know to call you or 911 if you don't contact them within 10-15 minutes after the session.

Also, maintain your boundaries. Many guys on here try to see how far they can push, hoping you'll make an exception for them since they're so "nice." Don't do it. If you're a pro, make sure they pay upfront so you can leave if they try to push boundaries. Call them out the first time they "accidentally" touch somewhere they're not supposed to. It can be easier said than done since they'll try to make that line blurry, so make sure to clearly communicate exactly where that line is.

  • Lots of good advice in this thread, @bekah_cuddles wrote what I was going to write.

Nobody has said this so I will: always insist on a photo.

If a person has, for example, just one good Karma, you could contact the person who left that Karma and ask them for more details.

Check that the profile is still there immediately before the session starts i.e. on the door step. If it has mysteriously vanished, proceed with extreme caution or not at all.

Always trust your gut. It doesn't matter if it's wrong occasionally, it's usually right.

I cuddle with a pack of dobermans patrolling the perimeters and hallways

They're FBI and hostage-situation trained, and ready to leap into action at a moment's notice in case the gal tries to get fresh with me. And they all have the secret service agent earpieces so they can communicate in real time.

Pretty much what they said. ^^

    My general tips:

For covid specific safety, I'd pretty much just follow the guidelines where you are. Or if you feel it is too weak for your personal comfort you can make it more strict for yourself. Like for me, we can currently have close contact with one person who lives alone. So that's my plan once I find someone I connect well with. If I find another person and wish to persue that too, then I plan to wait for about 15-20 days not being close with anyone before persuing another person. The latter I am getting from the 14 day isolation period and decide to extend it a bit to be safer. Wearing a mask as well, get vaccinated or choose to only persue others who are if it makes you feel safer. Socially distance and refrain from unnecessary social interactions. I'd not even indulge in having a cuddle partner and would cuddle sparingly for the time being. It usually take a long time before I have moments of strong desires for it. So if that's also the case for you, you can do the same. Wash/Sanitize your hands. You can also find ways to help you ease your cuddle desires so you could last longer without being with someone. I think that's about it.

Edit: Also stay away from cuddling if you are showing covid symptoms.
