When searching for potential cuddlers, do you choose pics šŸ“ø only or don’t mind?

On the filter tab do you leave the option open , do you think its possible to maybe connect with a potential cuddler through their profile & their words before requiring picture? Have you ever (or would you ever) accept a cuddle without ever seeing what the other person looks like until the actual meet up? Same question for distance āœˆļø do you only search nearby or is distance not a problem for you…

  • I don't mind if there's no photo of the person. Though if no photo at all it is a bit off putting. Then if that photo appears to be a fake or inappropriate then red flags.

I prefer to video call before meeting.

  • Photos - I don't mind. I see multiple reasons why people wouldn't want to post one. They can share if they choose upon request through the messages.

Distance - it's the number one issue for me and many others. Too few responsive cuddlers inside the radius.

  • I have contacted cuddlers with no photo and that has led to a very happy cuddle. I do ask for a picture at an appropriate point in the conversation, and everybody has been very happy to provide one.

I don't care what somebody looks like, but a picture is worth a thousand words and a face tells a thousand stories.

For safety reasons, I would be reluctant to meet somebody without a photo. We used to do it in the old days of internet dating, but providing a photo was hard back then so not having one did not convey meaning. Now, when taking and uploading a photo is trivial, and a reverse image search is easy, refusing to provide one privately is very suspicious.

  • There are plenty of reasons someone doesn't have their photo up.
So yea that would be foolish if me to filter those people. I have seen a few with no profile picture and I am glad I did.

  • I would be very unlikely to message someone without a photo and would never consider meeting someone without having seen a photo.

[To head off any comments: yeah, I don't have a public photo, but I don't expect anyone to message me first anyway. I provide photos when I message someone I'm interested in cuddling.]

  • I have to have a photo. Doesn’t have to be immediately but if I don’t get one right before we meet, we aren’t meeting. I always meet at a cafe and give a free half hour to chat it up and have a nice ice breaker but I’m not going to go table to table saying the cuddlers name. And for safety reasons, if they hurt me or ghost me or push my boundaries, I can show the pic to other pros in the area so they know to avoid him if they come to them.

If they say they don’t trust me to send a pic, then too bad. If you’re that worried that I would abuse your photo, what makes you think I can’t just take a photo of you when I see you physically? If I was that type a person to do that, I could easily do that when meeting you. It doesn’t make sense...

Safety first. If you don’t respect my safety, I wouldn’t want to cuddle you anyways šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

  • I’ve had clients with no photos and that’s fine for me. They typically send the photos offline anyway. Now if I were in a situation in which a client never wanted to provide a photo (or do video chat) prior to our session, I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable…. Because how weird is that?

  • I'll go either to message people, BUT if they don't have a pic in their profile, I won't cuddle with them unless they send me a picture over messages or unless I can see them on Zoom. It's way too anonymous otherwise and potential for scammer abuse and other safety concerns

  • If they don't have a photo, I require they provide.. Im never a guest at their home the first session..I prefer a hotel or my house (I have recording security cameras in every room of my house but the bathrooms and kitchen. I let them know about my cameras sometime before the session occurs just for a courtesy.. and if that makes them "uneasy" or "uncomfortable" then I cancel and don't book again. If they've had intentions of doing more, they've canceled on me. I've had 2 cancel because I told them about having my cameras for my safety. I can do without having sessions with them.

  • I don't really care if they show their face on their profile. It'll magically appear during our virtual session or in person session.

  • It does not matter when searching, but I would want a pic before setting up a meeting. My fear would be that it may turn out to be my 6th grade teacher,, LOL

I don’t mind no pic, but interestingly enough, I’ve received more replies from people with pics. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

  • I leave it open because it’s hard to find a good cuddle buddy and I don’t want to miss one because I filtered them out. I do read profiles and that impresses me more than the photos.

I do wish there were a filter to take out profiles not filled out. It would save a lot of time. No photo with a good profile trumps nice photo and profile not filled out every time.

  • @Babichev - ā€œI do read profiles and that impress me more than the photosā€

ā€œNo photo with a good profile trumps nice photo and profile not filled out every timeā€

    !! Ditto

I think a photo is important at some point before meeting. I don’t base my selections on photos and do cuddle with partners that don’t have profile photos or even anything in the bio. I’m not judging looks, I’m Demisexual so this might be more natural for me.

I request the photo as a safety precaution.

And yes we all have privacy concerns, there should be an unspoken rule about personal lives are personal. Let’s be real, we probably don’t want our bosses and others in our lives knowing what we do in our lives outside of those relations.

But anyone can send any photo even if it isn’t a real photo right?! …..answer is yes of course!
But I think it’s a big 🚩 when someone is unwilling to share their identity when they are requesting to be in a vulnerable scenario alone with you.

Call me crazy. I can handle it.

Meeting with someone you don’t know carries risks that our common sense tells us to be a little cautious.
Before the first meeting I like to inform someone close in my life that I’m meeting with someone I have not met before and allow them to know where I will be…..why? because if anything happens then at least someone was aware that I was with someone and whatever other details are shared for safety. They will have a description of appearance or at least what was presented.
Looking through my inbox I see quite a few profiles that are now listed as banned…I’m sure there’s various reasons why and how someone can be banned but that’s not the discussion. Point is, 90% of those profiles don’t have photos and were unwilling to share a photo while messaging.

I’m not looking to cuddle with everyone, so I wouldn’t expect everyone to be ok with this but my profile states I do require a photo, many are wanting exceptions but then I have to ask what happens to the boundary line; will they try to disregard other rules in person??
Karma ratings are great but law enforcement wouldn’t take that seriously in a worse case scenario…yes we live in that kind of world. They would realistically ask ā€œdid you know what the person looked likeā€ā€¦we’ve all watched 48 hours right😐

And let’s consider a comical scenario of ending up with someone you actually know….like your boss🄸

*thanks for reading, purely my opinion, no one needs to like itāœŒšŸ»

  • @aquariusrising6 spot on! Safety is more important than anything! 🌸🌸

  • @aquariusrising6 nice read, really well said thanks

@Sheena123 & @cuddles_ndream thanks! I thought this was an important topic. Hope you’re all wellšŸŒž

  • I prefer a picture, especially before meeting. If a picture is on a cuddle's profile the better chance I'll want to meet up with them.

This is for my personal safety and well - being. I do a lot of hosting, I want to see who is coming to my place and have an idea of who they are. If no picture on the profile I want them to show me one eventually. No picture , no cuddle!!

  • I don't mind there not being a picture, but I would probably ask them for a picture at some point in our conversation. That said, I did meet up with someone on here who did not have a picture and it turned out fine.

  • I don't have a body/appearance type for cuddling. As long as they agree to meet first. I'm all about the person inside.

  • I don't know that attraction matters as much in this field (at least in regards to the professionals), as the physical touch is only a means to open the deeper issue of something lacking emotionally. Take for example a massage, you really don't get to pick which massage therapist you see before hand and often times you don't at all because your face is buried in the table.

With that said, I do like to look through the pictures. Words are easily manipulated, written by a friend, or other means to sound more appealing. But the look in their eyes, how they present themselves, and other things a picture shows gives a better glimpse into the experience you will receive in my opinion. With cuddling, it's more intimate than just a massage. You might stare into their eyes the whole time, or go for a walk, take them out to dinner. As shallow as this might sound, the appearance in a way can be a part of the experience. If you don't like the look in someone's eye, chances are you might not enjoy looking at them in the eye if that's important.

So I don't think what they look like is important, but I think it helps factor in what you want from a cuddle session in some way.

  • I have met Cuddlers before from this site with no picture. The cuddlers were very private, so did not trade pictures. Upon meeting were pleasant people and fun to cuddle with. Most cuddles provide me with a pic but still open to meeting with people that chose not too.

Both to get more results. I would want to see a picture before we meet even though most of the cuddlers i met do not look much like their photos anyway. The photos are them but from some different time frames.

  • On a dating sight looking for a wife tonight and red flags just blaring. Profile said she was 58 but she said she was 45. She said she was in Denver but profile said Lincoln. She supposedly just joined and made mistakes. She kept pushing for my phone number. Her picture wasnt verified.
Yea I think I'm gonna have to go with a pic first before meeting.
