@audiguy85- Again with the one sidedness. There are SO MANY reasons people are choosing not to be vaccinated but you only see the side that says "It's going to help". It's not a blanket solution! If you don't want to cuddle those who haven't been vaccinated, then so be it, but don't come onto a forum seeking validation for your own opinion, because yours isn't the only one! These vaccines were created in like, 6-8 MONTHS when they typically take 8-10 YEARS!! There's a reason for that and all of this panic because of a pandemic doesn't change that. In 10-12 years there will more than likely be serious health ramifications for this. We'll see what "tune" you're singing then!
[-Sid] You are misrepresenting facts, @great_pillow08 . These specific covid-related vaccines ARE new, but mRNA technology and science have been going on for decades, for the flu, Ziki, and rabies, as examples. Scientists utilized and designed the unique spike proteins needed for an mRNA Covid-19 vaccine. There is already ample evidence of lingering and long-standing health issues related to those who have NOT been vaccinated against Covid-19. [-Sid]
@audiguy85 "For example, you might personally choose to walk up to a nice little old lady on the street and spit in her face." That's assault. Adults making the decision about what to put/not put into their bodies, taking as much precautions as they can to help protect and consenting to be or not be in each other's physical presence is nothing like what you tried to make it out to be.
This whole situation we are in is tough and complex. We can do less with the "my way or the highway" mentality and be more compassionate and respectful of each other.
That's a wrap for tonight.
A reminder to everyone related to the TOS and forum rules:
Accurate information is critical for something as serious as Covid-19, particularly for a cuddling community. For this reason, we may intervene in response to misinformation, fake news or conspiracy theories on this subject.
