At a wings restaurant, when I have specifically ordered boneless wings?
Both are natural and can be ignored π
Also: I do not want to see the chicken that has no bonesβ¦just a puddle of chicken
I'm the customer though, and I should atleast be able to get a new plate of boneless wings at no charge.
Is that actually a thing that happens? Yikes!! No bones about it ~ Demand a refund!!
I imagine the trick is to let the server know in a nice enough way. They're probably making minimum wage and I don't want to hassle another human who is just trying to scrape by.
Um... no bones means no bones. Unless you've consented to the boning of your food, there shouldn't be any. It's unexpected. I wouldn't cause a fuss with the server, but I'd for sure tell management I wanted something done about upholding their end of things. I mean they're the ones advertising/selling "no bones". So for one to slip in there... uh, no thanks.
No, I definitely would want a new plate of wings without any bones. But at the same time I don't have to be rude to the waiter making minimum wage, like I wouldn't be a karen about it and demand to see the manager, as long as I get a new plate at the restaurants expense.
At some restaurants they take incorrect orders out of the waiter's paycheck. In which case it becomes an ethical dillema. I can either just suck it up and eat the wings, or I can get the new plate but make life a little harder for the min wage worker.
My default in those situations, unless its an ingredient that I'm allergic to, is not to be picky and just eat it.
Hrm... Agree to disagree?
I've actually had this happen with nuggets. And though it was nice to know they were made with actual meat, it was not nice having it chip my tooth. So rather than ask my server to deal, which would have led to the manager having to approve either refunding or replacing anyway, I asked for them directly because I didn't want it all to take forever, and was mainly telling them so they could follow up with their distributors.
They gave me a refund, vouchers and a free ice cream but since I couldn't prove what happened, they didn't pay to fix the tooth. But I had dental coverage though so not really a big deal.
Point is, I wouldn't want to trouble the server. I've been one a few times and, not having the authority or time to deal with that kind of thing, I'd have much preferred being left out of it. π€·ββοΈ
@Chris55555 π ππ good answer!
this was a lot of references about meat, specifically about chicken, for a newbie to understand outside of bone.
Bury it! Itβs valuable
Those kinds of bones are small and not much of a choking hazard.
If they're raw you probably could give them to some dogs.
Boneless is best, so Iβd send it back to the kitchen and politely ask for what I ordered.
Gotta love these first-world problems π
Boneless wings are nothing more than chicken nuggets. Bone in is best . Your server did you a favor.
These bone threads remind me of the pro cuddler whose favorite movie is Edward scissorhands
They did you a favor by giving you extra flavor.
SO MANY BONE THREADS POPPING UP these days. πππ€£
No need for a BONE thread when a real boner thread just popped up

Well if it was just some random bone inside a boneless wing, that would be kind of scary. Biting into it could cause injury.
But if it were a plate of bone-in wings instead of boneless, then I would be happy. I ordered boneless wings once because it seemed like the healthier alternative. Fewer calories for sure, because I didnβt even finish half of it.
You got me.
Excuse me but my minds in the gutter ππ @sillysassy you are right too many bone threads lol How did you get that gif in here?
I wouldn't make any Bone about it.
I wonder when men will be asked if they come to the cuddle boneless or with a bone
Lol this is great. π
