@I_am_Polylover I am more than willing to help cohost the cuddle party as long as I would be able to use the hotel room to stay in while I'm there. I also will need to be able to bring my dogs with me. In fact, I might be able to help find someone who could possibly get us a reduced rate for the hotel room. I'd have to check into that. I know that in order for that to happen it wouldn't be able to be on a weekend. No Friday through Sunday. I also know that some other people would possibly be willing to come if certain others would not be allowed to be there. If I am able to bring any other females and/or males with me to the cuddle party they would need to be able to stay in the room also.

If I ever do throw my own cuddle party I would ABSOLUTELY post a separate thread in the general category to announce it!

I personally love cuddle parties because I myself am able to completely relax! I don't necessarily go there in order to get clients. I'm there so that I don't have to be concerned or worry about someone making inappropriate comments or inappropriate touching. It's one of the most relaxing experiences that I have ever had! I don't have to focus on anyone else's needs but my own. I also have witnessed other people breaking down some of their barriers along with it happening personally to me. It is a place of love, support and SAFE expression of platonic touch. I have even witnessed a father bringing his daughter to a cuddle party because he thought it was so valuable and would possibly help her set boundaries in other areas of her life. He was nervous at first but was thrilled with the experience that she had! It's not only about just cuddling but about also growing, standing up for and accepting yourself and your own personal boundaries! This is one of the reasons why I am hoping to eventually become a trained Cuddle Party Facilitator! It is THAT POWERFUL and THAT VALUABLE! Let me know if you would be OK with me cohosting the Pasadena cuddle party.

Everyone else, if the cuddle party were to be during the workweek, sometime Monday through Thursday, would that still work for you? If not I need an idea of what DAYS (please give me more than one) of the week would work best for you.

LADIES, if you do not want to post on this thread PLEASE feel free to PM me with your thoughts and days of the week. I will try and help make it so as many people will be able to attend as possible but it will probably not work for every person. Please keep that in mind!!!

All of this is of course if Poly/Jim would be OK with me cohosting.

Dear Snuggles, You see you have 'Participated in the Ritual of Cleansing' and the effect on you is strong, as you said you relax to a high level in a group which is safe.
This is good we are all starting to feel the power and in groups it can be so strong.

I really like what you had to say about how a cuddle party makes you feel personally, as well as your observations of others. Thank you guys! If I do end up coming to this cuddle party I will need to be getting my own room so that my dogs can stay in that room while I am at the cuddle party. If anybody is allergic or has a problem with dogs, do not worry! The dogs will not be at the cuddle party with me.

@Snuggle554321 most hotels that are dog friendly won't let you leave the dogs in the room alone though. I know an amazing boarding facility out here. It's on horse property and the kennels are attached to the family's house. It is the only place that I am comfortable leaving my dogs. If you are interested, I can get you information .

Good point. I wanted to take my dog on a trip once and found out you can't leave them alone in the room while you go out. So it seemed pointless and I ended up using a pet hotel near my home.

I would love to be able to come but it's all about the money factor. If I have to pay for a hotel room and pay for someone to take care of my dogs while I am there along with gas and food that all adds up quickly! I've stayed at a Motel 6 before where they're fine with me leaving the dogs alone in the room. However I would still need to cover the hotel room. If I could get the hotel room covered through the the cuddle party money then I can afford to come but I can't go into debt again on yet another trip to LA. When I thought I would be able to bring my dogs and stay in the hotel room that we would be cuddling in that took care of both of those expenses. If I have to pay for even one of those that adds up quickly. Motel 6 isn't the most comfortable place to stay but it's cheap and is completely dog friendly. So it's something that I can afford.

For my event here in Maryland we stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn. I had my tinybaby 5 week old kitten with me, it was not a problem for the hotel or for the guests at my party ( I made sure to check with everyone prior to the party if they had any allergies… Animals, perfume, or food or otherwise). I had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with 2 large living room areas and 2 kitchens.

although the offer was extended for people to stay overnight if they wanted, especially after the hotel had a mixup and gave us an extra room, nobody ended up staying the night. In a more upscale hotel with connecting rooms and suites, a lot of different possibilities are available. Even with less people than expected, we were still able to cover all the cost with $30 per person. People just ended up bringing their own (tons of) food instead of me supplying everything on the original menu.

Even though I have no new information regarding the party at this point, I thought it would be appropriate to assure everyone here that the lies told about me on another thread are just that, lies. I have now read the new rules, and plan on abiding by them, so this should be the last thing said about the subject on any thread.

It is looking like I will have this cuddle party sometime in July. There are still some details to work out, especially regarding the potluck portion of it. At this point, I plan on bringing my increasingly famous country sausage gravy, and biscuits. It would be good to know what everyone else is planning on bringing, so we don't have duplications. I am hoping that the thread stays more on topic this time around, with only those posting who have an actual interest in going, or having something positive to say.

Well I didn't get the email sent out by the end of the day, because life interrupted, but it did finally get sent out. I forgot to add one thing in the email - if you received the email, are a male, haven't talked with me to see what type of person you are, haven't been posting regularly on the forum, and don't have a woman to vouch for you, you are not vetted, and probably won't be going to the event, unless you can supply enough information for me to vet you.

Attendance stats: Only 6 women and 6 men will be going.
Women: 3 strong yes, 2 strong probably, and 4 maybe
Men: 3 strong yes, 1 strong probably, 2 maybe, 2 not vetted as yet, and my son standing in the wings wanting to go because it will be his birthday.

If I don't have your eddress, for me to send you details, or at least a phone number, and you want to go, then please give me your contact info right away, so I can firm up who is going and who is not. Strangely enough, I have more women on my list than men. So guys, if you want to go let me know and pay before someone else does. The same goes for you gals, if you haven't secured your spot with a payment, it could end up going to someone else.

It is the end of Wednesday, and the cuddle party is on Sunday, with only three full days before the event. Only a few people have paid so far. Please pay as soon as possible, in order for me to have time to find replacements for those who have not paid.

Only about half of the people who said they want to go to the cuddle party have paid their $13.00 share of room cost. I still have at least one spot still open for a woman, and at least 2 spots left open for men. If you haven't contacted me yet about going, now is your chance. Whoever contacts me at Jim@infinitelove.org, gets the details from me, and pays first gets the spots, whether you have previously said you want to go, or not.
