Yes @Big_Chris that's exactly right. These are community project. It's great you've created a central location. I understand that America is the majority of people on CuddleComfort which make sense for it to be the central server. However, every one of us has the opportunity to make their own server. Wether its for their groups, timezone or as a way to community with a client. All of us have this opportunity so don't feel as though you have too join. This a CuddleComfort community. We are all here for each other. Discord is only added layer to make that more of a reality.

I'm confused by this. It seems like a great idea except isn't something like this going to count as taking communication off site which is against rules (I'm not 100% sure on enthusiast but for pros/potential clients)?
That rule is specific to disallowing the exchange of contact details between a Pro and Client before using the booking panel.
Oh shoot... I see what @MaineCuddle is saying. @Mark, if a client knows a pro's Discord handle, from seeing that pro chat in one of the Discord server's channels, I don't think there's anything to stop them from sending a private message to the pro. Am I wrong on that? I don't think a Discord server owner can block its members from DM'ming each other. Can they?
@squeakytoy The server owner can’t dictate that to my knowledge, however individuals can choose whether or not they want to receive messages from people in a particular server.
@Catloaf Yes, I knew about that - but there would still be no way for the server owner to know whether a member had done that or not, right?
It's good to take this into account, because it does sound like a way for people to bypass the booking panel.
@squeakytoy Yeah, that’s true. I would think there isn’t much of a practical solution to this, other than barring pros from joining. It might be something that Discord needs to think about implementing, given that plenty of servers have yucky issues such as adults contacting minors etc.

It's good to keep in mind. We also have members here in cuddling Facebook groups too.
From a contractual and moderator perspective, a session falls under our purview if we deem the Pro/Client relationship to originate from this website. I think it would be reasonable to categorise an unofficial CC chat room in the same way.
So indeed, if a Pro chose not to steer a DM session request over to the website, they would be putting their account at risk.
Hey, I've read some of your question about privacy between professional and client and how that would work on a discord platform. The point of discord is to just enhance the communication between everyone on the CuddleComfort website. That's it, everything else is to done through the website as per guideline and your safety. no one outside the website should have access unless they have signed up to CuddleComfort. Since I've made that clear. Anyone found breaching any of the guidelines even on the discord channel and server will be reported and kicked of the discord.
Mark is too kind & a gentleman , although I don’t see anything inherently wrong with the discord group, I wouldn’t promote it here just off principles alone … if you know the history of CuddleComfort, they were the first of its kind, it wasn’t easy getting it to where it is today, & many similar sites have come & went since … I just don’t feel its right promoting another form of communication on here when there already exist 1, which is the forum.
@cuddles_ndream that's actually makes alot of sense, i see your point. I didn't think about how difficult it wouldn't of been for the original to create and management this website. And like everyone who has a long history on this site would hate for it to loose its originality. But I think comes with consequence of an era of fast communication and adaptability. I'm new to platform and I can't really say myself that I'm yet as one of your community. The main reason I want to added discord on CC. Was on the few days in joining I messaged everyone I could in the search to learn how use this platform. What are the positive and some of negative and I have message people that join at the time with me and guess what! alot of them left within the first week because of having an overload of people messaging and requesting things from them, a huge age gap between older member and younger member. And the fact this platform doesn't have app as a system. Alot of these wouldn't stop us younger people from taking this serious. I'm only taking this seriously cause I'm a natural entrepreneur I see business side and human side coming together in this platform. I would hate for this platform to die off with the old ways of technology and not evolve with new way of combining with other platform such as discord which is the biggest thing in our qge and could definitely cause a huge effect of people wanting to join CC.

Ive stumbled upon the discord / telegram & Kik world in recent months due to my recent passions in the crypto space, & to be completely honest, I feel that the forum, (& not upgrading to the likes of the 3 mentioned above ) makes this place very unique & special …. Like a sense of originality , no one else is doing it , they’re not trying to keep up or feel that they have to, & I’m sure many on here are familiar with Atleast one of the 3 above , & find that there is something very special here …. I see a lot of value here & I feel that having the forums / threads actually brings people (there are many who aren’t aware that the forum exist) I’m pretty sure most of the members on the site either don’t know or never clicked on it before ..
Well, I for one am tired of switching from one social media platform to another (hello and goodbye Google+, for one), and trying to keep up with all the new ones. While there are ways this website can be improved, I think it’s a good place for these discussions to stay.
from a software architect point of view, I think that the discord server gives people the opportunity to conduct initial professional meetings outside of the scheduling platform on this site.
I don't think a discord would be a good idea as it can potentially harm the business model of CC.
Wouldn't you take potential monies away from this site?

@Braindead888 I looked into trying this a year or two ago, and the logistics are just too much of an issue. While in theory the site owners and mods aren't against the idea, they don't want pros using it to solicit, or for anyone to bend the site rules. It's a lot harder to manage all that without having interior access like they have in the site.
For now, it's better to utilize this site to its fullest and let the owners start a discord or other live chat option if and when they choose to. If you want to start your own entirely separate community, you can of course do so - but you can't advertise it here and keep in mind you would be liable for any issues that come up.
