For me I have yet to even have someone attempt to scam me. I have met a few "interesting" gentlemen but nothing has spawned from that. The only thing I run into is people who ask me to have a day ready and never follow through, it aggravates me because another person could have really used that day to cuddle and it's not fair to others and myself that a person does that. Or I had one that lied about reading and was going to under pay me, by a lot. At the time I was like, this is fine, but next time please don't lie to me and read it (it's not written there just to look pretty, I didn't say this part but it's true).
@Nikijay88 I'm sure the majority of scamming is directed at men on the site. What's happened to you is bad as well but I don't know that I would put that into the category of scamming. That's more just bad clients.
I think that standing someone up is worse than scamming. At least scamming is easy to detect if you use your brain.
I think they come here because cuddling platonically is still seen as kind of out of the norm and a lot of close-minded dirtbags think that people looking to cuddle platonically are grasping straws at a relationship that they cannot achieve. They seek out this imaginary desperation because they feel like it makes scamming easy for them.
It's a good thing that this community is so open with each other and so committed to keeping itself clean. We are not a bunch of desperate idiots begging for any scrap of physical attention. We are like-minded people with a sincere approach at intimacy and when they eventually figure that out they'll stop coming.
@teapot, I don't think that is really scamming. Scamming is more like fakes trying to get money out of people not people desperate for relationship.
Scamming is a fake profile who contacts a guy pretending to be a girl interested in them. They then ask the guy to send them money and come up with excuses such as they need it for travel or whatever.
