I’ve noticed a few profiles offering non-cuddle services as the one seen in the pic. Have brought it to the moderators attention too.
Poll bellow.
I would love a cuddle buddy/housekeeper. Anyone want to clean my house and cuddle? I’m serious.
I have seen a lot of this. Just today, I saw a pro offering to go on a five day vacation with you for $5000. The one you're quoting seems to be offering the "girlfriend/boyfriend experience"
I have seen these services listed on a lot of pros' profiles too. I even mentioned in a blog post that someone could hire me to attend a dreaded event with them as an "emotional support human" as long as we’re not pretending to be something we aren’t. I don't know whether anyone will ever hire me for that, or whether I'll like it if one ever does, but I'm willing to give it a try. Accompanying someone to an event, sitting or standing by their side with or without those sides touching, maybe holding a hand or putting a hand on a shoulder, et cetera could be a sort of "public cuddle."
The phone/text buddy thing is not on my menu, so I'll let someone else explain it.
Where are these profiles? Lol 👀
I used to have it on my profile but I took it off. I honestly see no issue with it unless they personally say “girlfriend experience”. That phrase is usually used by escorts and the like so it’s best not to confuse anyone. (A major rule of this site is not to be here looking for a dating relationship so 🤷🏼♀️)
I figure the main reason this site was made was for people to come together and make a connection. My opinion is that having these extra options of just having someone by your side whether out for ice cream, at a theatre or any kind of platonic event, are other ways of having connections. I’ve had so many cuddlers book me for cuddles but also doing something random and fun before or after. Having those fun events before or after is just a different thing that eases your cuddler into getting to know you, making them more comfortable.
If it’s not for you, no problem. 🤗
As a serious introvert with anxiety talking on the phone at times, I would certainly pay someone to call and set up all my appointments for doctors offices and stuff like that.
Right now my sister does most of it and I keep her cats supplied with cat food. Works out well, they can't tell me from her anyway on the phone.
I had a public cuddle in a state park. We met in a gas station parking lot because she was familiar with the park and I wasn’t. I followed her to the right parking lot and we hiked together and talked before cuddling on a blanket by a small stream (fed by a beautiful waterfall). We had previously had a FaceTime call so we both felt comfortable with each other in a remote location.
I guess my point is that I see a very thin, blurry line between a public cuddle and a “non-cuddle service” like hiking together. We had a great time together so I don’t see any issue with pros listing such things on their profile.
@Morpheus ~ Ditto plus a chef!!
I think it's ok to do other activities during a cuddle session, for example getting a meal or going on a walk, playing a board game, etc as long as it's done in conjunction with a cuddle session. Getting paid to be a date to an event seems to cross the line into escorting.
No.
.
Nah.
Apparently platonic cuddling is already 'confusing' to some folks as they are out here for all the wrong reasons. And all those other things can have their own platform, which they already do. Instead of taking focus away from an already relatively niche thing.
It's relatively easy to find people to just chat with online for free. Though not too sure if men may have it a harder time with this. Also there is already at least one platform for a similar thing where people get paid to chat/accompany others. How successful it's or it's integrity I've no idea. In terms of here, most people don't go mute into a cuddle, doing cuddle and cuddle only. They can converse, watch movies, have snacks/a meal, etc., all while exchanging platonic touch. So it seems pretty moot to divide that up and put a price tag on it. Additionally the focus of the site is cuddling. Hence people finally feel they've found a place that could meet their needs without it being all over the place. Or getting taken over by other things and possibly becoming disorganized.
@Lovelight I'm with you spot on 👌
No. CC will get watered down. Cuddles only. Keep it tight.
Secondary services (e.g. massage) is a grey area and therefore we allow it at our discretion with a case-by-case approach. It must always be secondary and reasonable to imagine it being included as part of an existing cuddle session.
In the case of a "Plus One to an Event", I don't think that is reasonable and so a moderator can remove it.
I think as long as things stay platonic and respectful, there shouldn't be a problem. I once had a session with someone who didn't seem comfortable cuddling, but just wanted a companion to sit next to and talk to while playing games and watching movies. It was a great session and I would have felt extremely uncomfortable trying to pressure him into physical cuddles to make sure that everything else was "secondary" to that.
If these are things that are allowed while cuddling, is it really necessary to enforce that actual cuddles happen as well? Everyone's comfort level with physical contact is different. Some folks may just want a hug or simply to hold hands with someone while appreciating the presence of another human being.
I'm fairly certain many of us were encouraged to have virtual "cuddle" sessions over the pandemic. Obviously, no actual physical cuddling is done during these sessions. Rather, folks benefit from having a companion to talk to via phone or Zoom who will listen and engage with them, support them, maybe play online games with them, etc. You know, all platonic activities that don't require any physical contact.
Also, some folks on here have no intention of ever booking an in-person session, but just really want someone to talk to. Time is valuable, so I see no reason not to charge for these virtual phone/text/video sessions.

It seems as long as we all measure our activities together against the above, we're golden.
And I fully agree that, paying someone to be a "Plus One" may end with feelings of companionship and other happy thoughts, but it isn't the same as a cuddle and shouldn't be under the same umbrella.
There's already enough messy, messy, messy, mucky grey in our world without. 🌫💦☔🫂💞

@bekah_cuddles > I would have felt extremely uncomfortable trying to pressure him into physical cuddles to make sure that everything else was "secondary" to that.>!
I'm isolated person,antisocial,have difficulties, 28 years i rarely don't get cuddles and I see people getting cuddles, i get jelouse 😈. I always needed cuddles , i can't find someone to volunteer for me. I found out about CC on Google,when i have problem i ask 👉 Google. First time when I met my pro I have no clue about anything+ I'm coward or shy , She did everything i wish a woman to hold my hands,+ I came from a different culture. I'm a Muslim back home men women separate only i shake hands with relatives. first step she asked me questions then she holded my hands both key staring at eyes ,i was amazed 😳 then next step cuddles, she was doing everything I'm just stoned,amazed is this real or fake, it was best customer service,i felt I'm rich and valued, i have met 100s doggy women when I used to pay for **** it makes me depressed , no compassion and affection. But i found it in Cuddles. Amazing care,real cuddles . Stright i fall in her. I loved life , otherwise what's life is just hell. I have amazing pros they do first step. Do the steps it's not pushing it's amazing ,they are jusy shy.
The activity shouldn’t really matter so long as it’s within CC guidelines. If you’re looking for an activity partner though where there’s little to no physical contact, you all probably want to explore other options. I’m not gonna pay $80 and up for a hiking partner that I’m not going to touch all that much.
@Morpheus I'm with you
@bekah_cuddles "Some folks may just want a hug or simply to hold hands with someone while appreciating the presence of another human being."
Yes, and that can fall under cuddles/platonic touch.
"I think as long as things stay platonic and respectful, there shouldn't be a problem. It's fine if someone changes their mind and pros* would still need to get paid for their time. I understand it as It's not that you MUST cuddle. Though that the primary intention should be cuddling. Now if someone off the bat knows they don't want platonic touch. Or at least the idea of, such as in the case of a virtual cuddle. Then there are other platforms better suited to just having someone to talk with. Sit with or be an activity partner.
As long as the activities offered are within the terms and conditions of the platform and of course all parties are comfortable I don’t see any problem with companionship being tailored to someone’s specific needs. I have seen a multitude of pros and enthusiasts alike who offer endless variations of cuddles and connection - all platonic. Often I am impressed with the creativity in “packages” or experiences offered and I myself keep an open mind to what might best ( platonically ) serve each person I am able to connect with. I actually recently connected with a client who raved about his first ever cuddle session just prior to ours which was his second. On this connection they met in a park, hung out and organically in discussing life determined he wanted help setting up a bumble account to find friends and explore dating opportunities. The pro took some great pictures of him on the spot and helped him download and navigate the app which was challenging for him. This pro left such a positive impact on the person he was beaming throughout our whole session just recounting the interaction. It was really cool to see how elated and grateful he was. I ended up connecting with the pro myself to commend her on going the extra mile, being open minded and literally changing someone’s life! We’ve have multiple conversations and plan to meet when our travel plans intersect this month. Absolutely respect those who highly value this platform for cuddling of course but also feel that cuddling is the core and connection and companionship are also heavy hitter components which have the power to improve our health and well being.
Also want to say that being able to connect with people through cuddling and companionship brings me immense joy and I feel lucky to be able to do this. I often take pride in telling people how I spend my time and energy and also get to earn money - -and when I explain it’s so much more than just hugging or holding a “stranger” that it’s truly caring for someone, spending quality time connecting, listening, bonding, comforting, and that this occurs within messaging, over the phone, and even on hiking trails, while kayaking, and especially while cuddling on a sofa or in bed, they better understand what this is all about. As for me, I’ll take my cuddles with a side of companionship as long as the site allows it 😝😊
@Nature_Lover_ 👍 very important what you have mentioned you should make a thread for it 🤔 people must know about the power of touch and kindness
@Ahmedali999 thank you! I know you truly understand the benefits and power of cuddling and I appreciate you taking the time to include kindness. 😊
@Lovelight > It's fine if someone changes their mind and pros* would still need to get paid for their time. 👌💯 fact
This is from a profile I saw recently. It includes some of what few of you were wanting. @quixotic_life, @Morpheus
@Nature_Lover_ you're more than welcome. Cuddles have affection and compassion. Which makes people happy break from life struggles,sadness,pains, ☝️especially hardships
I’m not sure why offering phone or texting or even a plus one is verboten per se. Seems much more platonic than a massage. And it’s nice of what’s offered is something a person is looking for. But if it’s something you won’t allow understood. I unless the person is offering an illegal thing why even bring it to a moderators attention? I really don’t understand some people.
@greshpo that "menu" seems like it's from someone who wants to make an honest living, but I don't think listing all those non-cuddling odd jobs is appropriate here. When cuddling is approached as just another side hustle, bad things can happen. Being a cuddle pro requires a deep understanding of cuddle clients, and should be approached with dedication.
