    I'm not sure if anyone else in the Chicagoland area has experienced this, but I have encountered really friendly potential cuddlers that don't have either reliable transportation, or transportation at all.  You might come across this as well, imtrillifwme.  There also seems to be a surprising lack of cuddlers on this site around this area.  The first three people I spoke with, seemed promising, but relied on the train system to get around.  So no meetup ever occurred.  Hang in there, though.  There are a LOT of friendly people on this site and a wonderful community from what it seems.  It takes time, since a lot of users aren't very active.

    There are also cuddle parties at cuddleparty.com. I think they have one near Chicago. Also, there is an android and iphone app called spoonr for finding people to cuddle with. Some people also advertise on Craigslist and one person on the forum mentioned finding someone to cuddle with on okcupid. Even though okcupid is a dating site, he just stated in his profile he was looking for cuddles only. Hope this helps and everyone finds someone to cuddle with.

    Grace_Anna, thanks for recommending Spoonr!  I'm definitely going to give it a try.  Craigslist seems like it might not be the most reliable source for cuddling, and OkCupid might be a bit misleading, but thank you for the recommendations!  If it leads to the companionship, affection, and warm cozies, that's all that matters.  Thank you for the suggestions!

    It just hasn't spread to cuddling in Chicago for the most part, but yes there are cuddle parties in Chicago. If that isn't intimate enough for you though, I'm a proffessional cuddler in Chicago with a car and apartment with flexible hours. Check my profile out and message if interested.
