In terms of providing a safe environment for the client @cuddlerforu24, I was thinking......No perfume/pets due to allergies, phone chargers available, water and snacks for diabetics, consent, confidentiality, etc. Thanks!!
Every pro is different and has a vetting process that makes them comfortable. If this is what will make you feel comfortable, then do it.
I like to chat with my cuddler for a little bit, ask for a clear recent picture and then meet them in a public place for an ice breaker 😊 to each his own
Every pro is entitled to their own method but possible clients are entitled to outright reject it. For example, if you wanted my personal info like name, address etc I would want yours as I do not believe in one way streets with strangers. Second, there are so many non-invasive ways that I think most people are cool with—a pic, a public meeting, a phone call, etc.
But signing a contract and giving out personal information is a dealbreaker for me. The massage therapist I see has an intake form but nothing like the open-ended contract in the first post.
I have to share my driver's license to get a library card, I have no problem doing it for this too. Yes, video chat is great -- but it's not going to tell you if the person you are talking to is on a sex offender registry someplace. It would be nice if we all had such great instincts that we could spot a "wrong one" just by chatting or body language, but life shows that is not the case. Every pro has the right to do the vetting process they feel comfortable with, every client has the right to say no, I don't want to participate in that.
I have cuddled close to 100 pros and enthusiasts on here and I have never had to sign a thing or provide a drivers license. I think this is the case for most people. I think if you demand these things the pool of clients will shrink immensely. This is the internet and most people are cautious with how much personal info they put out in the cyber ether. But if that is the route you take no one will stop you.
@WriterGF when You turn in your library card , does the facilities erase all your ID info from their system ? Most likely yes . Does the pro shred the paper copy they made of your DL after the session ends ? Is it erased from memory .
I just keep thinking of the other topic on here where the OP had been assaulted and said she didn't know the full name of the guy. That would have made it very hard if she had opted to call the police. I do agree that the client has the right to ask for the same info as the pro is asking for, because both sides need to be protected.
@WriterGF you make my point, it's better to do her best to feel comfortable as clients too, but some offenders look cute,sweat and they are dangerous, if u listen to crime stories. Life is about luck.
Cuddles? Great!!! Now where do I sign? 🤩
@tinam00n You should do WHATEVER you need to do to feel safe. There are TONS of pros that require a photo ID before professionally cuddling. TONS. I find it baffling that there are guys in this thread trying to shame you away from using this policy, it's actually quite common.
Karmas are great but they don't show the whole story. I have a system I use for vetting which I've refined overtime. Feel free to send a message and I'll send you my process. In the meantime; use whatever process makes you feel most secure.
@cuddlerforu24 "How are you going to do a background check on a man named John Smith? It would be impossible to find the correct John Smith."
It isn't should something bad happen that the police have to get involved, it would make the process so much easier. And it being harder Is assuming that all someone knows about said person is "John Smith". There are so many other details that can help putting any possible anomalies aside. Such as knowing their race, sex, skin complexion, height, what the person was wearing if possible, the city the person said they live in or that's known they live in, etc. It's not like they can snap their fingers and end up so far away from that city/state. So having that information is a lot better than having none whatsoever which would no doubt make it a lot harder.
@Jkay Agree with you 100%
** I find it baffling that there are guys in this thread trying to shame you away from using this policy, it's actually quite common.**
I may have missed it, but where has anybody been shamed on this thread?
@jkay I don’t think anyone is shaming her in any way and I disagree that this is common. I have never even been presented with a contract. I provide a pic, I chat and I am more than willing to meet in public. This has worked EVERY time for years. She is certainly free to do what she wants. But I would not hire her because A) I don’t have the time for a lot of back and forth with personal information, B too many other choices out there that do not require this, and C) I value my personal information as you should too. I saw no one shaming her—they were giving her feedback from an individual client perspective. If anything, accusing people on here of shaming is shaming.
So I do not believe you read the entire original post centered around a contract. I would send a photo id with all personal info blacked out, but I draw the line at contracts and giving out personal data to a stranger.
@tinam00n I don't necessarily think that the contract is bad, however I think that it could be more simplified and made less vague. For instance*, what is "not bringing valuables" supposed to mean or even achieve particularly for your safety as that's what's being discussed?
"Masks do not need to be worn* inside the building" inside what building... it sounds like this is written for cuddle parties where they have dedicated space which they can run how they want. Though what if perhaps there's a hotel which has their own protocol regarding that and which differs from what's written here?
Paraphrased, cause I'm on my phone and it's too much going back and forth for me to ensure I copy it right: 'Terminating the cuddle with no warning should the professional cuddler interpret... inappropriately' seems reasonable.
No refund given... not really reasonable to me, because what is to stop the "pro" cuddler from abusing said system and just showing up to make a buck with no way to dispute that? And there has been a case kind of like that that's been shared here a little while ago where the "pro" arrived late(?), showed up with an ill friend unannounced, * said friend * was said * even asked to use the client's bathroom *, then * the pro * cut the session short, if I recall correctly. Many took that as a scam. Now of course you can have whatever protocol suits* you, though those are concerns I can see genuine clients having. Especially if they've had a bad experience before.
I second the points @cuddlerforu24 raised. "**"By signing this waiver, I agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries, both physical and mental, death, loss, or damage that I may sustain in the Activity"
"I am aware that there are risks involved with my participation in the Activity that could result in injury to me requiring medical attention, death, or property damage"**"
What?
If the contract ends up hurting her business, that will be her issue to deal with going forward. In the meantime, she would do what makes her feel comfortable and safe. The only reason not to would be if she feels it will cost her business, and then she can decide if the money is worth the added uncertainty.
@tinam00n welcome to the CC site. It’s too bad that the ask for help results in this shaming by clients here. They can’t even see it because they are so wrapped up in their lack of empathy to be concerned with your safety.
@Jkay thank you for posting. You’re a Pros Pro. I can’t imagine what’s it’s like to daily have to deal with clients like these who feel entitled and are envious of pros success . They simply are against paying for this service and let their feelings be displayed . Their only outlet is to bully pros especially new ones. It’s quite shameful 😥

Who is shaming who?
**envious of pros success **
Who's envious of who?
**They simply are against paying for this service and let their feelings be displayed . **
Who said they are against paying?

Maybe I missed it, but who bullied who?
@cuddler8900 you are new yourself here joining in October. Research the threads and your answers are there Have a super day 😊
@OhioMike She asked for everyone’s opinion. The fact that many disagreed with the contract is not shaming or bullying. I reiterated three times in different posts that she is free to do whatever she wants to do that makes her feel safe and then I outlined why I wouldn’t use her services. She can do what she wants to do and clients can either agree to it or not agree to it. I personally would not agree to it. But I understand her safety concerns. I do not think you understand disagreement vs. bullying. Disagreeing is not bullying or shaming.
I think tone can get lost out here when giving constructive criticism. Personally I think that 'contract' is poorly written period. Or at best, a poor fit for your goal, OP. So I take it many are somewhat infuriated by the content of the 'contract' and are therefore giving their feedback. Rather than going at you, which I personally haven't seen anyone going at the OP thus far.
I am new here, but I have cuddled for about 5 years.
You accused others or bullying, shaming, said people are against paying, and said people are envious of pros (which makes absolutely no sense). Stop posting things that aren't true.
@Lovelight That was my initial point when I said it is an open-ended contract and highly open to interpretation in a court of law.
Research the threads and your answers are there
What the heck does that mean? Your statements make absolutely no sense.
@cuddler8900 "You accused others or bullying, shaming, said people are against paying, and said people are envious of pros (which makes absolutely no sense). Stop posting things that aren't true."
I don't know what about the comments on this post came off as negativity towards pros to @OhioMike . Or if his comment was intended to speak about this in particular. However there have been plenty of posts and comments the times I've been here alone that have been hostile at best towards pros. Though luckily they've as far as I could see, been dealt with by the mods/admins here.
@Lovelight
That's why I'm so perplexed by the comments made by @OhioMike. Out of curiosity, I typed "envious" in the search bar. I couldn't find anything about clients being envious of pros.
This is why I asked him for more clarification, but he chose not to answer.
@Lovelight You are right about OTHER threads being hostile to pros and they have been dealt with. But just because that was the case on one thread does not make it the case on another, and the last thing this community needs is a self-appointed vigilante imposing his interpretation of a post as law. If he thinks there is an attack on a pro he should report it per TOS. Otherwise he is shaming those he disagrees with.
@Sheena123 💯correct
@cuddler8900 "Out of curiosity, I typed "envious" in the search bar. I couldn't find anything about clients being envious of pros."
If only it were that easy... anyway as I don't want the OP's post possibly derailed I'll stop here, plus I have things to do lol. If @OhioMike has anything he'd like to say, to possibly clarify, I'm sure he will when he's got the time.
