@StarFlower I try not to come off as desperate. I have autism and my communication and body language may be a little off. Sometimes I worry that I may be unintentionally giving off a creepy vibe when trying to talk to women.
I only had saw one pro on here so far. Our first session was a little awkward because I didn't know how to behave. I was able to open up more during the second session and had a good time chatting.
The subconscious is "the part of the mind of which one is not fully aware but which influences one's actions and feelings". So it's not likely that someone would "hope subconsciously" because hope occurs at a conscious level. But one might have ulterior motives, motives that "exist beyond what is obvious or admitted; intentionally hidden." That is a different thing, and a better way to describe someone who is unsure about what they are looking for.
@Mike403 I think as long as it's known ahead of time or is communicated fairly shortly after meeting, your cuddle partner can adjust to your communication methods.

Cuddler A has a profile that has multiple negative words: Don't. I won't. Stop. etc. That cuddler is likely to attract other cuddlers who hold a negative viewpoint, either that or someone who wants to "save" them from their negativity...or they will just not get responses. I think it also matters if there is a profile pic included. Whether that is the cuddler's real photo or an upload of something that gives insight into their personality.
Cuddler B has a profile with multiple positive words: I like. I will. My favorite. etc. I mean, don't you already feel better and at ease reading those words? This member will attract, more positive-minded people.
Challenge to anyone who'd like to do this: pick out 3 of your favorite profiles and 3 of your least favorite profiles, and count how many positive and negative words/phrases they use.
Very true, StarFlower. It's not a matter of putting up a phony profile geared toward getting responses; it's a matter of deciding to focus on the positive. If you have a negative thought, such as "I hate..." flip it around; if I hate vanilla, what do I love about chocolate? Then talk about chocolate.
There was a woman on different site who thought it was creepy for a single guy to own a cat. If you don't like cats, fine, but creepy??

I am single with cat and dog
I'm a college student. I work a full time job during the day and go to school at night. Unfortunately, I can't give a dog the extra attention they require. Cats being more independent was a better pet choice for me.
I have always had cats, both as single and non single person. this is my first dog since living with parents, and ive had her less than a year. I have also had birds, reptiles, spiders, scorpions, furry critters and rodents, fish....But now I have one cat, one dog, and fish.
