I'm easygoing and interested in many things. It's best to "keep it light" when you can, and you almost always can!
I'm really good at: Rock and roll trivia. Making things -- nothing fancy, just utilitarian stuff like furniture. Karaoke. Making friends with dogs -- I love 'em, and they can tell. I write well, when my muse visits; I can't force it unless it's news (I used to be a reporter). I'm good at solving problems and coming up with new and better ways of doing things.
My weirdest quirk: Probably my off-the-wall sense of humor (what's another word for "thesaurus?")
Love non-fiction; I only read fiction if it's the best of the best, like Last of the Mohicans, Huckleberry Finn, or pretty much anything by David Sedaris. He claims that what he writes is all true, but betcha he fudges at least a little bit. Movies: Blade Runner and Little Miss Sunshine. Music: I always quote Count Basie, who said "There's really only two kinds of music -- music that's good, and music that isn't". I've got mp3s by the Sex Pistols, Patsy Cline and Luciano Pavarotti on my hard drive -- if it moves me, I don't care what category it falls under. My college roommates thought I was a loon because I had records by the Cowsills and the ragtime soundtrack to "the Sting" in my record collection. Loved Led Zep too, but the soundtrack to my life will always be curated by me.
