No thanks. The very thought makes me cringe. Don't want another guy touching me at all.
When I was as a kid this neighbor kept trying to touch me and he was some kind of child molester. He was caught molesting another kid. So I get really grossed out by other men getting too close to me.
I even choose female doctors and female hairstyles etc.

  • All genders welcome ~ :3 <3

  • Good hygiene, kindness, and maturity are among the top factors I look for in a cuddle buddy. Gender, however, is irrelevant. I'm naturally affectionate and nurturing and have snuggled with individuals from all over the gender spectrum.
Having grown up in a patriarchal, macho society (Philippines), the road to realizing my pansexuality (as well as demisexuality and ethical non-monogamy) had numerous delays. Moving to California has helped significantly, but I still struggle with internalized homophobia.
I have a soft spot for men who are working on their intimacy issues in regard to other men. I also appreciate being a cis man who can provide safety, comfort, and platonic friendship for women (and others) who may have their reasons to distrust men.

  • I’m all for it!

  • I wouldn’t mind as long as women don’t get attached to me :). Everybody is welcome

  • I actually prefer cuddling women. 💁🏽‍♀️

I have cuddled with women too & I enjoyed it very much 🤗.

    Yes I'm accepting all genders.

  • @UKGuy ”As usual everyone who responds to this topic always says they are totally open to it.” @CuddleDuncan and @Mrcuddlebear already said before you that they weren’t comfortable with it.

  • @Melancholy Thanks for your honesty in sharing that. Sorry that happened to you.

Same Gender cuddling is definitely not a deal breaker for me. I just love to cuddle. I realize we all have our own boundaries and I do not judge those who would rather pass. It isn't for everyone and that's okay. Wishing you all an amazing day! (((Hugs)))

  • It’s not for me, that’s not to say that I don’t need nor partake in male bonding.

  • The summer I was in LA, and could attend a regular cuddle group, I enjoyed cuddling regardless of identity. There were definitely more times where it was a little awkward at first with another guy, because of what has been the social norm. side note: I know one guy was literally there because he found cuddling to be awkward and wanted practice, which I thought was pretty cool.
The cuddles I had with women there were always pretty easy and comfortable. However, the times when there was that little stutter with guys was when I really got to talking most about why we were there and what it meant to us, which made the connection that much deeper.

I've often wondered about this, myself. My only somewhat similar experience of same-gender cuddling came in the form of a chance reaction to closeness.
I was doing a friend's hair and she leaned her head back against me. No problem... Then she exhaled, deeply, and said, "Gosh, I miss this." I, unsure of what she meant, asked what it was that she was referring to. She said, "Touch. And I miss my mom." My heart broke. I gently cradled her head and told her that I loved her, and that I was glad to "be there" for her, in that case.
It was only a brief moment, but I've often wondered, after that, if t might not be missing out on something special by not seeking such connections! It didn't feel "weird," "wrong," or frankly even "different"-- I was HONORED that I could "hold space" for my friend..

I'm glad this was posted. Food for thought! :)

  • I’m not comfortable cuddling men. I prefer female energy to male.

I have a group of friends of a mixed gender and race and culture and they all cuddle together men with men the women not as cuddly. . My sisters boys always cuddled on the couch with their friends while watching a movie one on top of the other. Also like I mentioned earlier about two guys that were best friends that held hands. I think the lack of male bonding has really made men to needy for female contact. Check out a video called belly to belly. About two heterosexual friends who cuddle belly to belly totally Platonic friendship. Men in foreign countries hold each other‘s hand walking down the street and they always kiss on the cheek. Here if you do that someone just assumes you’re gay. I’m not sure if any of this will ever change people are too afraid of what people think. I personally would love to cuddle another lady. I wish it was my friends but they’re not very cuddly. I try to sit close to them but they always get up and move.

  • Those are very good point @kimberly77 !!!!!! 1000% truths!!!! I hope to meet up and cuddle with you soon. Thank you so much!!!

  • I’ve been cuddling for a while now and I wish I had the same sex to cuddle with sometime. Think it would be really nice change and a good session.

  • Growing up I didn't get much safe, appropriate male affection and touch. So, for me, I have found that non-sexual cuddling with a man is a very powerful and comforting connection. And, if we 'click' and becomes great friends, then it is like icing on the cake.

  • @CuddlebudBruce that is a great point!!!!

  • @KozyKim - before the pandemic I had some friends who had cuddle parties, I’ve hosted some small ones myself, and it was like you describe - quite the mix of race, gender, orientation, relationship status, etc., and people cuddling all across the spectrum. It was lovely. I called it “kittens in a basket.” Or perhaps I could call it bunnies in a pile. We had a litter of 7 at the rabbit shelter and they pile together, it’s really fun to watch.

  • @Babichev I have always wanted to go to a cuddle party. They sounds like it is a lot fun.
