So let's talk about nude cuddling then, shall we?

@johnm29 I take great offense at your statement that would place me in the same category as homosexuals and/or eunuchs. I have respect for all people, but that doesn't mean I like a label pinned on me that isn't accurate. Just because your mind can't conceive of someone being able to control themselves, doesn't mean that we don't exist. Just because I can, and have cuddled nude, doesn't me that Is what I am looking for here. Why don't you go create your own website where you can be as bigoted and judgemental as you want. As long as you are here, I'd appreciate it if you would keep those types of thoughts to yourself. I'd rather not have to deal with it.

The difference between what you posted here and on your profile makes you seem really hypocritical.

@johnm29 "I'm sure there are men who are capable of disrobing and cuddling a naked woman without being emotionally overwhelmed by a desire for intercourse. Those men are homosexuals and/or eunuchs . . . Those of you who are looking for such things, please feel free to start your own website -- named, perhaps, "Let's Do It!' or "We're Not Those Prudes Over at CuddleComfort." ."

LOL!!! Oh, thanks, I needed a good laugh!!

  • I_am_polylover, I have to wonder why you, as someone who has great respect for people of all sexual persuasions, would take such umbrage at being grouped, peripherally, with gays and eunuchs. I will presume to speak for the 97.5 percent of men who, if honest with themselves, would agree with me that being naked, and cuddling a naked woman, would result in an erection. My presumption, in that regard, is not different in any meaningful way from your arrogant presumption to know what my mind is capable of conceiving. I said nothing about people being unable to control themselves, only that controlling oneself can be difficult. I suggest that you acquire the ability to read critically, you will find that it comes in handy when one tries to engage in intelligent discussion
Judgmental? And you're contending that you are not being judgmental in your opinions expressed here? Sad, that your facade of intellectualism is probably successful, in some small way.
Bigoted? How is saying that gays and eunuchs would not be aroused by naked women bigoted? Bigoted? I'd hoped I had found a forum where grade-school name-calling was left behind in grade school.
    Hypocritical? Please specify, or retract.

  • Thanks, BlueIris, for correctly perceiving my point. If CuddleComfort becomes a place where male victimizers can point to a client agreement giving them the right to coerce women into disrobing, it will then be avoided by the kind of women I had hoped to find here.

  • What it comes down to is not so much whether a desire for more than platonic cuddling "arises", but what is done about it. It's a lot more difficult to ignore when clothes are not involved.

I think it's definitely worthwhile holding the line to discourage anyone from coercing or pressuring a partner to disrobe, as @johnm29 said. "But the others do it" is a form of pressuring, and some people are very sensitive to it.

  • It is a false, gross, and insulting comparison of gays to eunuchs and their responses/responsiveness with women. Eunuchs can respond sexually but not procreate. Gay men can be with women (clothed or unclothed) and be aroused. You straight guys have some interesting ideas about masculinity and sexuality. I have interviewed hundreds of gay men married or formerly married to women, many whom are fathers. To my knowledge, I've interviewed one chemically castrated man, and yes, he said his junk worked, up to and including orgasm. Any man, gay or straight, can be sexually aroused laying naked with someone else - but let's get back to the gist of this thread:

1 - naked cuddling (it can happen, and it's up to the two involved (M/M, M/F, F/F))
2 - I'd hope folks are adults and communicate their limits, wants, and expectations
3 - Please honor yourself and honor the person you're with (if this seems a challenge, please revisit point #2 until you achieve clarity)
4 - don't use ANY excuse to be a dick about consent (NO means NO, always - clothes or no clothes)

  • I have had a former nude platonic cuddle pal so yes, it can happen and still be platonic. And I considered it an honor that she chose me for it, and that she knew I could be trusted to not cross any lines. Whether you get aroused or not, as an adult, you have a choice to think with your big head, and not the little.

  • Just keep in mind that if an assault, sexual or otherwise, occurs in a nude cuddling session, you are going to have a tough time getting the law on your side, from initial charges all the way up the legal ladder to the courtroom.so let's not to forget to discuss this aspect in the context of nude cuddling, shall we?

  • @sometimes agreed! In my case the person was a naturalist, we knew each other pretty well, and there was trust on both sides. But yes, nudity def creates a different dynamic, even within a platonic context.

  • @pmvines, yes. This is where philosophical musings crash into hard reality, in a culture that already has a hardened history of blaming the victim, punishing prostitutes but not their customers, and dismissing complaints on the reasoning that "she was asking for it" because of the way she was dressed. Now, if she wasn't dressed at all....

  • @sometimes the ironic thing about countries where things like prostitution is legal, it is actually empowering in a sense to the woman, but we have such a puritanical view of these things here coupled with a patriarchal power structure that it is seen as quite the scarlet letter.

I was just going through all discussions above.
Let me say - i had number of Nude Cuddlings (none of them is on this site so dont judge ;) ) with Cuddling Buddies and NONE OF THEM TURNED TO BE SEXUAL INTERACTION.
I think it depends how both agree on boundaries, skin to skin with feeling of really close is amazing and if you can, i repeat "if you ca" keep sex out of it - the experience is amazing. But it is how you take it and how you remain firm to agreed limits (which are obviously nothing more than cuddling)

    Any thoughts???

I'm a gay male. I could probably cuddle naked with a female with no problem! LOL

Agree with @pmvines - "Reality of the fact is that what two consenting adults do is between them. Where the nudity thing becomes an issue is when money exchanges hands."

My obligatory answer is always "Whatever two consenting adults decide."

My first-ever cuddles as an adult in September of 2009 were topless. Due to my Asperger's Syndrome it was very intense for me at first but rather than complain and say it was too much I let it go for a few minutes until I had a very clear idea how it felt to me. I LOVED IT! In 2015 I got into a relationship with someone I met OFFline in which I got to cuddle my partner with us both being COMPLETELY nude. Eventually I wanna be in another relationship for this very purpose. But 'til then, fully-clothed cuddles are better than no cuddles at all.

  • I once Cuddled nude with my partner and it was amazing. I believe cuddling nude should be decided among the two parties if they are both okay with it then its all fine.

Despite no experience yet, I share Kathy02's opinion (which is the one from several other people in this topic) : when meeting IRL, showing sincerity/honesty is the best solution.
Now I now understand Mark (the moderator)'s point of view of prohibiting (subject to permanent banning) such proposals in the online messaging system = for the first communication with someone : it is simply a safeguard for the general atmosphere (and the reputation) of this website.

I tried this service and it was enjoyable.. but the act of cuddling is inherently sexual to me. I was with a young lady who appeared very comfortable throughout the experience and did not mind that I became erect off and on during the session. My hands wandered a bit with no push-back. I find it hard to continue though without some kind of one-sided or mutual release during a session. If that's never allowed, I'll stick to romantic partners. The process is simply too intimate to have any act of sexuality "banned" from the behavior. Good luck.

@InvinoCambridge has already been banned for reasons that fall in line with this post. [reurbo]

  • Personally, I think this is an inappropriate discussion on a platonic cuddling site that expressly forbids nudity.

  • @UKGuy Mark has okayed it as long as no one offers it here. Not everyone is mature enough for a naturist experience, which IS platonic. Read up on nudism as a lifestyle. Nothing sexual about it.

I previously offered nude sessions (not anymore and not here though), but quit because this mindset is the majority in my city. However I have spoken with many nudists who offered that service to introduce it as a lifestyle to curious folks. Nothing shady.

Two of my clients are clinically diagnosed sex addicts using the service to integrate and familiarize themselves with platonic touch as part of their ongoing therapy. I should be more scared of them, even with my clothes on. Luckily, we communicated boundaries pretty effectively.

@Catloaf - I'm familiar with the naturist lifestyle. I've been to naturist beaches and resorts in Europe. But this is not a naturist website. I stick by my opinion that this is an inappropriate subject on a platonic cuddling site which expressly forbids nudity. I also feel the owners of this site are treading very dangerous ground in allowing this discussion. Already several people who posted to this discussion have been banned.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with nude cuddling per se. However, it just seems that, if it was allowed on here, then a lot of pros would offer it, and then men would start to expect nude cuddles from professionals who would otherwise not want to offer it.

For this reason, I don't think it should be allowed. This site already has a lot of creeps, even with the strict rules in place.

  • @MichaelFJudd what he said. I'm not a fan of naked cuds in any context though. I'm clothing-on biased.

  • kathy02 that's ok with your partner, not that one can arrange this through this website messages
