What makes a cuddle better than great for you?

I have only been cuddling for about 6 months professionally and I'm always looking for ways to make my sessions more scrumptious. What makes a cuddle better than great for you?

Mod Edit: Renamed title to avoid misinterpretation. And due to the inclusion of a photo, it appears this is intended more as an advert than a general discussion and therefore it has been moved to the Cuddle Requests sub-forum.

  • Ummm, could we make this plac more of a forum and less of a billboard for services, please.

  • [Deleted User]SugarMagnolia (deleted user)

Ummm... could you come with helpful suggestions or simply move on? Or is it necessary for you to try to control hello

  • The question/topic is great, actually, but including the picture makes this more appropriate for the Professional Cuddling forum.

  • What @Sideon said.. my helpful suggestion should not have to be spelled out, but since you asked: avoid a double-entendre subject heading and further desexualize/defetishize it by removing the promo photo featuring gratuitous cleavage. Since pictures shout louder than words, probably should go to the Cuddle Requests section instead.

  • I kinda have to agree with all of the above. The post itself is decent but the pic makes it sound like an advertisement that should go on the cuddle request or pro forum. The pic and the word, scrumptious make the post a bit too sexual for a platonic cuddling site. This is all just my humble opinion.

  • Helpful suggestion #2: Like most sex ads, the pic dwarfs the message size and reinforces the suggestive sexual innuendo of the header, so remedy that.

Not asking for advice on what to post, or how to word things online. Check your boundaries and your NEED to interject here. If you have suggestions great, if you are full of hate-also great. Enjoy being yourselves and making your own choices-you won't be making mine.

It's always puzzling to me how on a site that is based on such a kind act (cuddling) among friends in a very platonic atmosphere just how quick people are to rush to judgement and openly criticize someone, almost bully her, based on opinions. Hardly seems to line up with what this site is supposed to be about.

  • We are all just trying to make sure this site stays its course and doesn't run off track.

  • @sugarmagnolia the forum does have posted rules and you could potentially be breaking them. This is ultimately up to the moderator.

Thank you Bruin. Maybe they will take the time to consider why the interpreted what I said as 100% sexual. Pleasure does not have to be sexual. Boobs do not have to be sexual. Something being delicious or scrumptious does not have to be sexual. Most of these are sensual. The site is about sensuality, right?
I guess I just feel really bad for people who don't have anything better to do then be the internet police. Like somebody else said there are moderators who will remove it if it's an appropriate post. Some people like to go to library just so that they can find somebody to shush. I think this is the same kind of situation and if it makes them feel better to feel like they have some control over someone or something in this world by dictating internet posts, then more power to them. We all have to take what life gives us where we can get it, right? Here's to them getting a little bit desperate for entertainment! Have you guys tried cuddling? Cheers guys!

  • I think that you're feeling to see the bigger picture. Professional cuddling can easily go in the wrong direction and many people can mistake it for what it's true purpose is. Although your opinion may be that certain things don't sexualize it but many other people can very easily run away with something as simple as a little cleavage. I have said it before, the cuddle purists here on this site are trying to keep this cuddlecomfort and make sure that it doesn't stray often become backpage or sugardaddy.com it's a very delicate and fine line and some people could very easily see things on here and not understand the reality of it all.

This is looking less platonic/therapeutic and more like the massage parlors next to truck stops on the interstate.

  • In the simplest way possible, when you post things with sexual connotations, it will be received as such. "Pleasure", "scrumptious", and the eyes-on-me pose don't suggest platonic cuddling. You may not have asked for advice but that's kinda what happens in discussions... I don't think anyone was intentionally trying to be rude or "control" you. Also, there are several other discussions that highlighted what people enjoy during a cuddling session. I liked what people mentioned in the thread about cuddling positions.

    Oops.

    Am I on BackPage again??

Must have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque...

  • You asked for suggestions so I gave two. Can't cherry-pick only the ones you like. Also, I ain't a guy, have been involved in formalized cuddling for over six years and have a cuddle partner, thanks. And have been fairly vocal on behalf of women in my forum posts. Might wanna familiarize yourself with the forums and general standards.

Well, for those who are actually interested in the question (of say, what makes a cuddle great), I'd say:

Consider the definition of attraction, it's things that make people want to be near you. Things like good hygiene, a nice smile, being happy/relaxed. Sometimes it's a type for people, or nostalgia in different forms. Good conversation or a good movie can help. Since it's platonic, dress conservatively.

The act of cuddling involves a measure of being vulnerable with each other, so an emphasis on safety can help. Communication and boundaries are important. It's best to be clear on those points, so that when the cuddling occurs it can be a good experience for both parties. I'm sure cuddling can be quite addictive as you get into it, so set proper boundaries and honor them.

Lastly, as a guy, my experience with women so far tends to be that they're really guarded in a lot of things. So the act of cuddling with women itself is kind of healing and makes me feel accepted.

Aside from that, money is a factor. I'd prefer someone to regularly cuddle with, but if it's paid, it will likely not happen or be as regular due to cuddle money expenses having potential to build quite easily (I would think)

Thank you Delta. I am also an amateur musician and have practiced music therapy in a clinical setting. I have wondered if that would be something that would be a good combination too...or just weird.
Thank you for actually answering my question and not trying to derail the topic by "dress coding" me.

If you're going to complain about her clevage then you would need to complain about 75% of the women on here. Personally I see nothing wrong with what she's wearing, her picture being posted or the question she poses. I don't read any sexual innuendo's into it. It seems some people have too much time on their hands and feel the need to enforce rules that aren't being broken. Oh well, if we could just concentrate on cuddling the forums would be a much happier place. @SugarMagnolia I am a professional musician and I think music can heal the soul, I'm just not sure how to cuddle while I play my guitar, or my piano.

Always amusing to see two distinct sides on threads like this.

Reminds me of the face-off scene from Captain America: Civil war.

    GOD I love that movie...

  • Bottom line, if you want nonpro women to respond, messages to them have to be free from sexual innuendo and double meanings, and cuddling has to be at the very least de-sexualized and de-fetishized. My experience here has been that the large percentage of men approach women/cuddling as commodities and services to be ordered up like food delivery, and it seems they don't know how to approach the women here effectively. But they can learn if the effective ways are modeled for them. Nonpros aren't here for the money. They want to be treated like human beings, not objects or sex objects.

    Agree 100% @sometimes.

Some easy listening music in the bg can also be handy, as some people don't like it to be too quiet. It'd depend on the person, and as long as the music is relaxing to them.

But, while I did give suggestions and the general thought/idea of attraction related to cuddling, I agree with the notion that you do want to be aware of your body language and dress and what you may be communicating, and of what other people may be interpreting it as.

Particularly with cuddling, as it's less socially / culturally acceptable atm, and I'm sure most/all of us agree we'd like it if cuddling was more prevalent. To that end, it is important to consider the message we send to the world on what platonic cuddling is, so it's easier for everyone to understand and accept it.

So, while I agree that that using words like 'scrumptious' or 'delicious' technically don't have to be seen as sexual, but to most newcomers or passerbyers, it'd be hard to see that wording and not misinterpret it. I tend to err on the side of caution, so a better way to phrase the question may be like- 'what makes a cuddle great?' Thoughts to ponder, anyway.

  • @sometimes: goes both ways, that

  • I think choco should even it up and post of a pic of the bulge in his crotch.

  • I think @Morpheus wins the interwebs.
