I guess the context is more important in this case. Society in large has decided that when you are near a public swimming area, minimal clothing is okay. Probably because it’s hard to swim in water with clothes unless they are skin tight.
Society has also sexualized one gender’s chest over the other gender’s and that’s where some of the controversy in this thread is coming from.
@yawbus3 yes we are all adults, and compliments are great. But this community is under constant attack from those who seek to sexualise cuddling, or conduct sexual activities disguised as cuddling. Consequently any inessential sexualising comment is inappropriate because it contributes to the undermining of our community.
Furthermore, calling somebody sexy is only a compliment when they are attempting to be sexy. Since this is a platonic site, nobody here is attempting to be sexy. Calling anybody here sexy is therefore not a compliment, but an insult.

I see nothing wrong with your pictures. I have talked to females who have taken a selfie with camera up high looking down. If their clevage is shown, the pics are gone. I think any type of curvy female has to be covered completely. I don't agree. But that's what it seems to be.
@sunnysideup yea, I’ve overlooked a lot of swimsuit photos. I have one on mine but I’m fully in the water so all you see is my face and shoulders. But I also have a pic up where I’m in a gondola in Venice wearing a white dress and with how large I am up top, I have a good amount of cleavage but the photo itself is no where near something sexual. So I don’t think having some photos up where there’s a bit of cleavage is wrong because cleavage is natural and will happen for some women in any outfit that’s less than a T-shirt. But I do think as soon as a women makes a kissy face and the photo is centred mostly on her chest, that’s wrong. Or if you have like, 8 photos up and all of them are just boob…. If women have some photos where you’re just living a normal day and it doesn’t have any sexual connotations, I see nothing wrong (unless all your photos are cleavage).
I’ve reported every single “away from the beach” shirtless pic of guys. I’ve also had to report so many photos of men where you see a very clear, purposeful outline of their “manhood”. But the majority of men I’ve reported were of them just blatantly saying in their bio, they want sex…. With women, it’s more the sexual suggestion of photos so it does matter what you put up for photos.

The only shirtless photos men are allowed to upload are if they are photos at the beach or a swimming pool. If they upload other shirtless photos, those are removed, too.
The mods are not monitoring every single photo that is uploaded. We rely on members to report them.
If you are not happy with the rules, you have choices: appeal to @Mark to change them or close your account and go to another site that has different rules. Simple. However, complaining about them here is neither appropriate nor is it professional.
