Since 2002, I have developed a personal relationship with Christ consisting of Bible reading, studying & listening and prayer to the extent that I am free to pursue the real male bonding that I desired to begin with, without having a desire for counterfeits like masturbation, pornography, and same–sex attraction, all of which have become most unappealing to me as I have grown closer in my walk with Christ

I don't think you are homophobic and I think you can simply choose to ignore any derailment; after all it takes two people to make an argument.(as I know from your religion, you cna turn the other cheek). If your thoughts really are problematic I am sure a mod will lock the thread. If it isn't locked then you are fine. While people have heated opinions about this topic, it is important to remember that they are only opinions and extremely subjective. Opinions should not be convoluted with truth, I think any sensible person can agree with that. Until then, I would love to hear more of your truth.

I think it's unfortunate that your choice of venue has resulted in you being targeted for scrutiny, as if you have lesser rights than others with similar proclivities, to just be who you are. So ironic how that works. I think you are here because you want to test the waters. I think you should go for it, but you're going to have to endure nipping at your heels for your transgressions against the PC police.
