are you more or less likely to cuddle with a pro if they email you?

  • @morpheus Well, she isn’t a shoe salesman. At least that is one platonic takeaway.

  • A handful of pros have sent me greeting messages after I had dropped by their profiles. I feel that within bounds, because I started it. Ostensibly, they are just being friendly. One or two have sent me such greetings even though I hadn't visited them. That is no worse than me doing the exact same thing with an enthusiast, which I have not done lately. I'm more likely to send a greeting to somebody I legitimately admire, and not to groom for a cuddling session. Respect is the value that I want to engender most in this community. Respect for privacy, and scarce time, and individual preferences, are values that I'm trying to grow. It doesn't ruin my day if an overly ambitious pro contacts me. I'm struggling to show my personality without my amygdala tapping out and drawing me back into the shadows. It's an excruciatingly slow process and I've not always shown people my best side. The mark of a real pro is to understand what is behind that, and to help me work that out.

  • @Rezz
I'm on team Rezz🥰 I'll message on occasion if I see we have something in common just to chat about.
Unless someone reaches out and asks for a session I just assume we're talkin' buds ☺

If a pro wants to reach out, no problem. There are many different paths to a good cuddling destination and there are many awesome pros who gin up business in their own unique way.

It’s a biz my friend. They seek out clients and that’s totally cool.

If someone looks (mostly stares) at me in person I give them a friendly 👋, so if someone stops by my profile once twice or thrice why not do the same?

    From the CuddleComfort.com Pro Contract:

Cuddler Contract and Independent Contractor Agreement

    Miscellaneous

You agree to not initiate communication with our members unless you have reason to believe they will be interested in your services. Our membership includes enthusiasts (free) and clients. The website is designed for clients to reach out to professional cuddlers.

  • @Moxytocin whoa! I didn’t realize this. Well done. Thank you.

@Syins You're welcome. A visit to a profile isn't necessarily interest. I have clicked on profiles of peeps in the forum just to check out who that person is. I've also accidentally clicked on profiles. I've clicked on people more than once or twice (ohh ok, I remember that person now). Never meant interest in a cuddle. I, myself, wouldn't want to receive a message every single time I randomly clicked a profile. I don't do it to others.

  • More likely, I'd be more likely to respond personally if they message first. This site is pretty overwhelming, in a good way. So many pros, only so much money😅. That toppled with distance. More often then not I'll view a profile & try to keep them in the back of mind if I like the vibe I'm getting, but I won't initiate a conversation because I don't want to feel like I'm wasting their time.

When I'm the one initiating a conversation, it's usually with the intent to book in the near future unless I'm continuing a conversation from the forums. That last bit though has only happened a few times to my recollection. If they don't respond, they don't respond, I'm not owed anyone's time or energy. Now if they are the one's messaging me, that's great. I'm happy to message them back the same way I would an enthusiast. Happy to message back anyone who takes the time to message me. 😊

At that point I feel like the pressure is off. Like they're actually interested in who I am as the person, not what I can do for them. You never know too, I may organically be open to a session after some meaningful conversations. It's already happened with a few pros on here & I'm eager to meet them when the time is right. They never asked for anything, simply let me experience their energy & now I hope to experience it in person. One of them wonderful pros can even be found in this thread. There's no telling what good can come from a well intended message.

Pro cuddlers are not allowed to initiate contact with members unless they have reason to believe you are interested in their services. That is in their contract which you may read by going to the terms of service and looking at the section on pro cuddling. There is a link to their contract. Many pros regularly check who has visited their page and message them with something like, “Hi, I saw you were looking at my profile. Can I help you?” However, their reason for being here is business. I don’t mean that in a cold way but just a pragmatic way. Most of them are not looking for pen pals.

Yes, someone would be waiting a looong time for me to reach out and message first. "Hi, I'm Moxytocin. I see you're on this website. Would you like to pay me for cuddles, please? I'm a pro."

  • I think the OP changed the post...wasn't it about someone messaging you and not email??
anyways...if I visit a pro cuddler's page, I don't mind if she messages me first. It doesn't offend me at all. In fact, I think I booked someone because of that. She sounded nice and really that's what matters more than anything .

  • Thank you for clarifying! 😇 @Babichev

  • I am perfectly fine if pros message me as long as it's to say hello or talk about something. I don't want ads though. To answer the title, how likely I am to cuddle a pro is unchanged by them sending me a message.
