What do you use for video chats?

I've seen this pop up occasionally when skimming through profiles. Whether it's for virtual sessions or for vetting purposes, what app do you use for video chats? I have an old Skype account but I'm not sure very many people use that one. Curious to see if there's a common answer here.

    I've only got Skype. Been a while since I logged in, though; I don't do video chats much anymore.

    Most people seem to use Zoom these days. I used to use Skype a lot but it just doesn't come up any more.

    Whatsapp sometimes with people who are already friends.

    FaceTime, Google Duo or Zoom. When I book a client on this website so we typically use FaceTime or Google duo depending on which type of phone they have. If I have a client book me through my personal website I often do a zoom call with them because the booking software I use sends a zoom link but if there are technical issues with zoom which there often are I will revert back to FaceTime or Google duo.

    Jitsi is great! Totally free, and you don't need to sign up or register or anything. You just make up a URL like meet.jit.si/yourmeetingname, go there and join the meeting. And whoever else goes to that same URL can join too. I've never bumped into anyone else's meeting by accident, but I suppose it's possible if your meeting name is a short common word.

    Skype was always bad until microsoft purchased it and just made it completely unusable.

    I currently use nothing to video chat with people online on PC but on my phone I can use signal.

    I just use my imagination and then things turn out ok. I have a PhD in daydreaming.

    The most popular apps are Zoom and Skype. Between these two, Zoom is slightly a better interface, slightly better quality video, and may be easier to use.
    If you use an iPhone, you can use Facetime directly.
    There are also other apps such as Telegram, and Google tries to have a conference app but none of their attempts have been broadly accepted (or they just stop development).
    My suggestion is to use the tool you like best, but be flexible- you’ll likely need to have Zoom or Skype as an alternate.

    snapchat, Facebook, or instagram video chat, is a good option for phones, as most people have these apps.

    We had an HOA meeting via zoom last week . A resident started to shout and the host hit him with a mute feature . Took care of him
