I’ve done a fair amount of traveling in my life. Not everyone makes a good travel companion. IF I were to consider a cuddle buddy travel buddy I would do it very carefully.
This reminds me of a thread @ernesto_2 started or commented on, and I commented that I would be interested. Whether as a pro or enthusiast, we would have to work out several logistics and compatibility checks. What great lists you have, @Gallowglass 🐺😂
Where money is concerned, that would create certain boundaries on the relationship; i.e., we would be client-practitioner, not friend-friend. If I were being paid as a pro, I would probably figure out how much I would earn at my “day job” and charge for lost wages rather than charging my hourly rate as a pro Cuddler, since I do not rely on that for regular sustenance, and it would probably be more expensive than if I charged for lost wages on my day job. I would also ask to be paid for airfare and expect hotels to be paid for.

It all seems like a whole new aspect of the cuddle-world. Most people like traveling, and everyone on here likes cuddling, combining the two seems like a good thing.
I have done it with friends outside this platform. I am going on a road trip almost cross country next week. I would absolutely be open to the right person joining.
While I am no longer available to travel for personal reasons, I do have a lovely spot in the woods to host people traveling to central Virginia (about 25 minutes to Charlottesville VA). People visiting can mix private time with regular or overnight cuddle sessions to make their perfect retreat. 💜 I have clients who prefer a variety of what you ask though, oftentimes a mix - lots of time together, less time together, meals together or meals private, rooming together or separate, etc. I am a professional though, so there are costs involved, and the choices people make often is related to their budget, but people would probably be surprised at my rates. It's worth asking if you find this intriguing... 😇
I love traveling so it sounds perfect with someone you're close to. It would involve a good amount of discussion...I'm a planner who likes to do all the things and not miss any opportunities, which might not jive well with the beach bum type who wants to relax all week at a single destination. As long as we knew what type of traveler the other was, I think it sounds like an amazing way to connect even more.

I love traveling because I like going on new Adventures and building new relationships with people because you get to experience new foods and cities and it can also be a learning experience so as long as it's not too far away unfortunately I don't have a car right now so transportation is limited
Nice thread and ideas! I would love to do this - be able to travel and travel with cuddle buddies, but my work is so demanding I can't get away. Maybe someday.

I assume(?) that on these travel buddy trips that costs are dutch (split 50/50)? Maybe that should be one of the topics in the list. It likely varies whether cuddle buddy was an enthusiast/friend/Pro/etc. @MissAdventurous - sounds awesome. @MxSmith - I agree with your comments.
This sounds amazing. I would definitely do something like this for the simple fact that no one wants to travel alone, I say yes let’s see the world together cuddle buddy 👍🏼☺️
@_CuddleFish I love travelling alone, I've done it a lot. If you actually want to experience a place it's the only way.
I should add that I love travelling with companions as well.
@CuddleDuncan There are absolutely benefits to each way of traveling. When I travel alone, I tend to talk more with locals, have more introspection, and of course more freedom to make my own schedule, lol. Years ago, I went to Bar Harbor ME (Acadia NP) for a work conference. Outside the morning sessions, I used the free shuttle to go all over the park and basically hiked every possible summit you could reach with the free shuttle, lol. I skimped on lunch and then went all out on dinner, multiple courses, and had a lazy meal in the restaurant reading through the courses. It was an awesome trip. But at the same time, it's nice to have company to share experiences with if traveling with someone. O:-)
While it seems most people prefer to travel with a companion, traveling alone can be a very satisfying experience. I’ve done it precisely because I did not have a travel companion and found there are some distinct advantages. One is that you have complete freedom to follow your whims and preferences. Another is that I find that, in the absence of a companion, I tend to meet more people when I travel alone.
That being the case, I still generally prefer a good travel buddy over traveling solo.
This sounds fun. At first I thought I'd only do it with a known cuddle partner, but as long as you were both brave enough, doing it with someone new would be an adventure! Assuming you'd each be mindful of each other AND not have a problem with understanding there'd be some alone time naturally thrown in, it'd be great! It wouldn't matter much if it was someone new and unfamiliar if both of you were confident and not quick to worry or overthink things, lol.

I love this idea! I am based in Orlando, so everyone travels here. If your looking for a tour guide for the city, or a Buddy to play in the theme parks with, I’m your girl!☺️ But I’m Also open to traveling WITH you to places.
