Canadian Cuddlers - where are they?

[Deleted User]SuperCuddlerGuy (deleted user)

I find it unsatisfying that there are a very limited number of people from Canada on this platform and would love to "cuddlecomfort" organization to try to communicate with more Canadians, especially in the key population hubs in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.

I would love to hear back from people regarding this topic and also see if we can gauge what the interest and psycho-graphic and cuddle behavior of individuals who have joined and how we can assist cuddlecomfort with knowledge to help them improve the Canadian database of needed cuddlers.

Let’s talk! I’m here in YYC and interested in growing the community. Not because I’m a pro, but because I want AB to actually have a thriving cuddle community/network. The end result is non-transactional. I want users to come to me if they feel they or their cuddle partner need help, and then have the courage to approach the community to explore on their own (which handles dealing with rejection etc, navigating situations that do not occur in pro sessions).

Part of the problem is lack of advertising, which the site helps with on a specific page. I’ll have to find the link. But we can print out posters, tell friends…there’s a lot we can do to help grow the site.

I used to post kijiji ads explaining the community, and that you come here to meet people for simple cuddles without expectations of sex or a relationship. I also made it clear in such ads that as a professional, I only exist as an optional resource. My goal in doing that was to hopefully bring folks here and connect them.

I did witness some success. Not all those users stayed or still log in, but it was exposure.

    Calgary eh... nice...
Thank you for your reply, if I were local I would suggest we go for a coffee and strategise... but i would like to have the company do their work to build their communities...

  • I’m interested in growth in Canada too. Let’s collab, @Catloaf if you’d be open to that.

  • Sorry - should mention I’m in AB too hence thinking that we should collab given closer proximity.

  • Where are you in Canada @SuperCuddlerGuy ?

I looked at this post because I saw it was about Canadians and I wondered how long before someone apologized: 4 responses. ;)

I used to live in Ohio and I loved the Canadians I knew. Good look luck finding more cuddlers y’all!

  • Sorry, I’m not in Canada right now but from May to October, I live near Toronto 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  • I’m interested in coming to visit Canada soon

  • Winnipeg here!

Last I heard, Calgary was the most active place in Canada for cuddling

  • I really haven’t found much happening in Calgary in the cuddle department unfortunately.

  • @SuperCuddlerGuy I see you're new to the site and the forums so welcome! As for your suggestion, I think I've seen an ad for the site once, I don't remember where or when only that it was years ago after I'd already joined. How people find the site or hear about it is pretty all over the place in responses, but for me I was going to be doing a road trip after a real low point and simply wanted to cuddle with someone in a couple of the cities I was visiting. I did a Google search and came across a news article about professional cuddlers and this site along with 1-2 others.

While ads can help bring in a flood of people showing interest in the place and do help the site grow, those who are not really serious about it, or worse those coming with the wrong intentions, would only come for maybe a week or less before abandoning their accounts. Also, in this day with browsers having banner and ad block extensions and many people ditching cable tv for streaming services, picking the right placement/platform for your ads and covering the fees that come with it when you're still a relatively small site can be risky.

I would suggest though if you are wanting more people to join in your area though you can always advertise the site yourself. You don't have to spam forums on other sites about CuddleComfort, but telling people about the site by word of mouth is still a great way to spread information to get others in your area to join. If you're shy about it, about telling others you use the site you can simply say you've heard of it and went to check it out. Sure, at some point if they join too they'll come across your profile. Then the chances of them talking about the site with people they know only helps the number of members in your city grow.

  • I am from Calgary. There are a few people here I probably never messaged but I haven't felt like it has been a good time for me to cuddle for a few years now. I've at least said hello/welcome to a few and hopefully things have gone well for them.

As to having more Canadians on here I think the biggest thing is knowing this site exists. I looked for a cuddle site and that's how I found this. I imagine word of mouth would be the most effective thing? That being said cuddles isn't something that comes up for me when I talk to people.

  • It’s a very sohry situation.

    I'm in Toronto.

  • I am new here from St. Catherines.
Gained pro status rather quickly, just looking to spend some time being social after being stuck inside during the pandemic.
    Feel free to msg me!
