Are you a soft cuddler or a tight cuddler?

****Hello fellow Cudduders and Cuddudettes!
I was just pondering what kind of cuddlers like to hold the other person soft and light cause you may fear if you apply pressure to the other person you might hurt them or you like hugging air or like to give like a bear hug squeezing tight close , like your about to fall off the couch so you need to hold on to the other person for dear life. I myself am can be both. Depends on how good the other person smells hahhahaha.

    I'm a soft cuddle myself but I prefer to be held tight, of that makes sense

    I think there’s a lot in-between those two and variety of all of the subtle levels of cuddles that is just the right mix. For me.

    I like soft cuddles but then I also like my gravity blanket and weight on my legs

    I am versed in and open to both - I am compensated for aligning my time, energy and schedule to be available for those who may need or want my cuddles and companionship so my objective is always to prioritize meeting or exceeding the expectations of my cuddle buddy.

    So if my cuddle buddy craves light touch and soft hugs, I’m here for it. If they need to be held or hold tightly, I’m also here for it. ☺️ Perhaps it’s not so much touch at all but the need to be seen, heard, or validated that I can help with.

    Sometimes we think we know what new might like or benefit from prior to the session and as it progresses organically our needs might change. For this reason I love to begin sessions with discussing ongoing consent, boundaries, and empowering my cuddle buddy to let me know if their needs change throughout our interaction.

    But I will gladly hold and snuggle someone exactly how they like it or how the need it. No judgment mere.

    Like others have mentioned, I think a combination of both would be the best way to cuddle. It also depends on how close you are to the person, the temperature and location. Maybe a third option should be included.

    It's up to your cuddle buddy what they want and need. But I enjoy a big warm squeeze initially. ☺️

    I'm more a squeezer. I've often been concerned that I may be too overbearing with the tight embrace that it becomes uncomfortable for the person being hugged. I guess it comes down to communication

    I'm mostly a soft cuddle kind of guy, but if you've built a rapport with someone, the tight squeeze-hugs can be very nice... ☺️☺️☺️

    Who knew cuddlers and bread had so much in common. Personally I like a hard crust with a soft inside. This is why I never cuddled Dr. Atkins.

    I imagine I'm a soft, gentle cuddler by nature, but I think I can switch that up depending on my cuddle partner's preference if she has one. I haven't really cuddled enough to know for sure and I feel a little embarrassed to admit that.

    I’m both! Strong cuddles when it’s needed, and soft cuddles too.

    I love variety! I think tight cuddles are meant to be in short increments. I had someone squeeze me tight for a very long time and wouldn’t allow me to move. That was more like a smothering feeling. 😅But if it’s in between all the nice soft cuddles then it feels like a relaxing reset button and you can check in on each other about how you are feeling.
