This has been my primary work for the past four years (though the past two years have been light because of the pandemic in 2020 and then 2021 was mostly recovering from a personal situation), which would put me in box 2?
Aside from the first year, I do not schedule more than one session a day, either a regular session or an overnight. I do not try to make as much money as possible. I learned pretty quickly that I can offer a much more authentic service, and experience more fulfillment, if I can focus wholly on one person each day, not be distracted by the clock knowing someone else is on their way, etc. So that would put me in box 1?
I do have a pretty efficient process, a website, a booking page, payment plans, etc, etc. Box 2?
I do not have dozens and dozens of karma (I guess two, but nothing new since pre-covid, lol). I do not see just anyone who messages me. I am only interested in seeing people who are seeking what I offer, and voluntarily allow people to self-filter themselves. I'm not looking to manipulate people into giving me more and more money, as much money as they can afford to give, or even not afford to give. I want a mutually beneficial and mutually interested relationship. Box 1?
I do refer to people as "clients", but I also consider them "friends". Box 1? 2? I don't know.
Overall, I try to straddle the line between the two boxes, as that's where I'm happiest and that's what I would want in a professional if there were any options for me nearby. Professional enough that I'm available and not going anywhere (I'm currently doing regular trips two hours away for one client, because I am no longer traveling in general, but he is not able to drive long distances; and I am also doing what I can to be able to accommodate my client in a wheelchair in another state who is still interested in sessions, but I am no longer traveling), but relaxed enough that it never feels clinical (I have had professional cuddling sessions with the type you talk about and (personally) am not interested in the clinical feel either). But I also would want a professional who takes it seriously enough to have the knowledge (and the interest to continue learning) and self-awareness of how to interact with people in a way that doesn't cause trauma, that doesn't manipulate, that isn't self-serving, etc (hard to fully describe all the nuances in behavior and communication that are needed for a really top notch professional). There are definite pros and cons to both boxes. 😇

Regarding freedom of speech: the Constitutional right to freedom of speech refers to the government limiting speech. When we participate in the forums we agree to abide by the rules which is an agreement to limit our speech. We do this in numerous other places. This is an important distinction.

Very few of the people who start their forum life with posts like yours come back to apologise, so it's good to see you. There is much you can learn here, and for most people there is help. Why no free cuddling with a pro? Because this is our job. Do you volunteer to work at your job for free? If you do, that's silly. You'd lose out on money that you could use to hire a pro.

There was one charging something like $600 a while back. There was some kind of controversy around her; I don't remember what it was, but she wasn't on the site long.
IME very high priced pros come in 3 categories:
If the pro is out of your price range you don't need to announce it.
As per that policy stated above, the author of this post wasn't complaining about rates, simply they were curious about some of the most expensive rates out there. It's necessary that pro rates are acknowledged and can be useful for feedback that pros may take into consideration if they choose. Complaining is not appropriate, yet it's also not right to be prudish and avoid conversation about pricing because non pros here are their market and they should know their thoughts.

Just set your search to the max you're willing to spend. This thread is not necessary. It's never necessary to tag people calling their rates expensive. Learn how to use the search function effectively.

In the past, there have been numerous cases of people whining about professionals' prices, and your post fits that pattern even though that wasn't what you meant.
The highest rate I've seen was $10,000 per hour, although that case fell into the first of @CuddleWho's categories.
By the way, it is usually considered bad form to tag somebody in the forum unless they are active in the conversation. When you stop to think about it, it's basically a form of talking behind their back. (In some cases it can lead to a barrage of messages, and they don't know why.) If it is absolutely necessary, the standard routine is to message the person explaining what's going on and linking to the thread.

If someone wanted to book her they can find her on their own, they don't need to come across a thread with her name linked pointing her out as "the most expensive pro".
How appalling, calling out a professional instead of doing the adult thing and asking them about it directly or simply moving on.
Yea, for those that keep saying what he said was justified, he’s tagging her. If I had a notification saying someone mentioned me in the forum and I went to see, the title and post would be very disheartening. This doesn’t seem like “Info gathering” at all. You didn’t create a poll, you didn’t actually ask any questions and you rudely tagged this pro to a forum in hopes of people talking about her expensive price. Nothing about this was for research. It’s just rude.
