    @strangemanNJ 🤷‍♀️ Okay? I'm not a moderator so I didn't, in fact, yank it. I said I didn't believe it was allowed (ie not sure - I only know it isn't allowed for pros).

    @Babichev and @reurbo are moderators.

    It was in fact @reurbo and I think they were wrong to do so.. so I sent in an inquiry asking for a clarification - waiting on a reply...

    @strangemanNJ It might be good to have clarification because now that I think about it, there are pros who have links to their YouTube or Tik Tok on their profiles or linked in the forums. It may just be we can't post links to our other cuddle site profiles. We definitely can't share phone numbers, Snapchat, Skype etc without a booking (n/a to enthusiasts).

    @strangemanNJ
    https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/terms/client-service-agreement

    Use of Website
    6. You are only permitted to exchange contact information (e.g. phone and email) after confirming a session using the booking panel.
    7. All contact with the Cuddler, including scheduling, should remain on our website unless absolutely necessary.

    While only phone and email are listed as examples of contact information not allowed to be shared before booking a sessions, listing your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, Telegram, Kik, Snapchat, Reddit, Discord, Twitch, TikTok, Ello, or any other personal profile on another social media site or your personal website is not allowed. Just because no one reported you for having this listed until now or for any amount of time does not mean it's ok to have it listed or that you can be giving it out before a session is booked. I hope this helps clear up the confusion.

    UPDATE:
    If you come across a profile listing this information in the About Me section, it's clearly visible in their uploaded photos, or it's in a forum post, please report this using the site reporting system.

    @strangemanNJ there is a frequent problem here of bad actors trying to get communication offsite as soon as possible. This is so they can act badly without CC having direct access to the evidence, which makes it harder to ban them. As a consequence, the site takes a very dim view of anything that could be construed as inviting communication by any means other than the site's messaging system.

    @Moxytocin most of these links would be removed if the mods knew about them, and they should be Reported. (If they are allowed then of course the mods won't do anything,) In and of itself it's not a serious crime, but it isn't a good look. Sex workers posing as cuddle professionals use such links to get communication offsite so that they can discuss their services more freely. This can be extremely traumatic for potential clients who are seeking platonic services, particularly if there is a history of sexual abuse or sexual violence. A significant minority (or perhaps even more) of cuddle clients have suffered some kind of trauma.

  • @CuddleDuncan
    Not sure I accept 100% your premise, I think it's more to ensure that pro's don't try to take business offline.
    I consider that totally reasonable for them to protect their financial interests in this way...

    Given what I had is not a violation of the T&C, my profile shouldn't be modified without my permission.
    I've had it here for a long time... and as I said, I sent my inquiry via the channel provided.

  • @strangemanNJ Yes, Pros and non-Pros are the primary focus for this rule. You should notice the wording doesn't specifically say Pro, Client, Enthusiast or anything along those lines for either point I listed though. These rules apply for everyone which is why it's under the section for "Use of Website" and not under a specific section solely for Professionals and Clients. While I see you've been here almost as long as I have, unfortunately tenor doesn't absolve you from having your profile adjusted to follow the site rules. Any admin or moderator for the site is at liberty to modify your About Me profile if it is breaking the site rules. You were given a warning about what wasn't allowed, informed what was removed from your profile, and reminded of the site rules. Any further discussion on this can be done privately.

    oh.. I didn't even see your earlier post. My apologies.

    I truly feel It really doesn't apply to me, it's for pros.. not even enthusiasts...
    it's very clear at the top of the page that those terms apply to clients.
    to get to it you have to be following for the 'to be a pro' section of the general terms

    You do make it clear you don't want private appeals DM'd to you in your profile...

    so where can we discuss it privately?

  • I apologize to everyone for this thread being hijacked to complain about something unrelated to the thread topic. The discussion between strangemanNJ and I has been forced to be continued privately.

  • How interesting... I don't get how sharing our 'outside of CC identities' doesn't play into the topic at hand. I mean it seems that doing so might put one in a more vulnerable position, but that's a choice one should be able to make right? Especially if not a pro...

    IDK ~ Maybe I'm missing something, but being able to go in and edit another's profile feels wrong. I can see imposing a "suspended until in compliance" type of thing, but it doesn't seem right that mods can edit without consent.

  • @quixotic_life Typically the only time we modify a profile is when a person lists links to their off site social profiles or personal website or if a new Pro does a copy/paste of another Pros profile. Anything removed I also am sure to include in the warning given to the person so they know exactly what was removed. If it's something inappropriate or non-platonic though the person is just banned.
    As for suspending an account until they comply, that means waiting on a confirmation from them, lifting the account suspension, and then checking back later if they did it or not. Unfortunately we have too many reports to do daily to use account suspensions in that way as it would only cause more work. Removing the content and giving a warning that informs what was removed means the issue is resolved in a single pass.

  • Makes sense ~ Thank you

    @JessLookn2Cudl read this thread and look at some of the women's profiles that contributed to it.

    They helped me sort through the bullshit

  • @Cuddle_RN thank you so much for this thread and for pointing me to it today!

    I once met someone from the site who wanted to meet at a Starbucks and after just an hour together she invited me to her place to cuddle privately. We didn't have to go to movies or meet dozens of times first.
    I asked her about it and she said she could tell very easily that she was safe with me. I've had many tell me the same thing.
    One cuddler told me that within five minutes she could tell she was safe with me. I don't now how they do it. I don't know why some women can't and need dozens of meetings first. But we can't expect all women to be the same or to have that same sense.

    @Melancholy I wanted to mention that not only is no one the same but personally my sense of psychological safety can change in an instant. This can happen due to any number of things, and perhaps not even from something another person does or doesn’t do. And, yes, as was mentioned by others in this thread, it’s related to traumatic life events.

  • WOW 50 PERCENT OF THE MEN!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! But I see nothing wrong with women being safe!!!!!! Me I have never tried this but I definitely have no problem with meeting at Starbucks for some Coffee first for the first meet. You know Starbucks is always going to have lots of people so that would be a perfect place just for a first meeting!!.
