I agree with the last few comments on 'mansplaining'. I think we should discourage its use based on it often being disrespectful.
While it's origin might be based on truth, and so it technically can be used in observational form, in my view it's primary usage has evolved to being derogatory. In almost all cases I've seen, it is weaponised to blindly discredit someone's opinion due to their sex in the hopes of shutting them down.
