is there some secret code for those that post their profile picture that only shows a portion of their face? i have seen so many like this and i dont understand what it means. As a professional, i dont want to get myself into something im not ready for.

    It could be just the way the photos get cropped automatically once they get downloaded to the platform

    Sometimes it looks like that but if you click on the picture it shows the whole face. I don't think its a secret code unless I'm missing something

    I think I just picked a bad photo. I just realized mine is kinda of one of those. And I don’t mean anything by it.

    Different platforms (i.e. laptop/phone) may show photos differently. Also, some people deliberately crop the photo to show only part of their face. I'm not aware of any secret meaning.

    Professionals are required to have at least one clear face picture. If you find one that doesn't, Report it.

    It's like Instagram; people are taking tall rectangular shots with their phone, then it gets cropped to a square. An app like InSquare will allow people to put a background of their choice to solve this, as I have done with mine. (My face is purposefully cropped, however.)

    Many profile photos are cropped to be displayed in the square format. If you click on one of those photos, you will often get the entire photo displayed. For example, if I click on your photo, it shows up like this.

    Some probably done it by accident, some do it for privacy reasons I'm guessing as it's harder to recognise someone with just half a face showing.
